This is an older hotel, so it did not have some amenities, like a mini-fridge, that would have been helpful in the very hot Florence weather. The breakfast was fine -- scrambled eggs, a selection of cold meats, croissants, and yoghurt with toppings. The location was fabulous, right under the Vasari Corridor, near the Ponte Vecchio, and only a minute's walk from the Uffizi and the Palazzo Vecchio. Because of this, however, it was very noisy until late at night. We needed two trips to get two people and two suitcases down. However, the check-in was seamless, the staff friendly, and we felt very safe with their security measures. Note that the entrance, before the lift has about ten stairs, so I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for those with mobility issues or strollers.
