This hotel is down right disgusting. We showed up excited because the pictures looked cute and it a good walking distance. The female front desk worker is rude, the sheets have blood stains on them after switching rooms and the worst part, is we found bed bugs. They refuse to refund us and are making us stay in their infested hotel. Do not come here. Pay the extra money and stay anywhere else.

The family run hotel was beautiful and the staff/family is very welcoming and accommodating. All touristic places were in walking distance, restaurants near where very good. We had forgotten our wedding ring and they returned it to us and helped in finding it. All in all will go back again !

Hotel was nice and clean and the staff was helpful. It is close enough to walk to the tourist areas but far enough away that it is really not that close. Close enough to train station for a quick walk or ride (with luggage). We did both and it took about 10-15 min either way. Close to Accademia Gallery. Park area in front was fine during the day but some homeless sleeping there at night. Room was spacious for 4 people and the view overlooked the park. Everything close enough that can be walked.

Wonderful customer service, friendly staff, helpful providing information. It's about 15 minute walk from main train station, keep in mind busy, narrrow sidewalks, can be a challenge if you have a lot of luggage. You can take public transportation across train station to take you close to the hotel, there is a bus station across the hotel. Breakfast was continental, sufficient to get you started for the day.

Good hotel if you have a car
Excellent location , small difficulty in navigating to the hotel due to road works but Waze app was the solution. Due to covid breakfast has to be served by staff. Staff are all polite and helpful. Access to onsite parking is via very narrow driveway. There is a cheaper option for an on street parking with a hotel permit.

We loved this place!! :) Paul (front desk) was so nice and very helpful with the check-in. Location is great and within walking distance to the Dome, close to shopping and dining. It was a very nice hotel, excellent service and a great complimentary breakfast buffet. Easy access to public transportation that would take you anywhere in Florence.

It isn’t as close to the station as advertised. The room is too small for two persons. There are very few plug points for charging devices. Wifi is not free and the signal is very poor. I had to use my cellular network for internet and that was very expensive. The room rates were exorbitant and definitely not value for money. Overall a terrible ey

Great location, smelly room
The location was perfect and the staff were very nice and welcoming. The only issue we had was that the room was very musty giving it a strange smell. The window is on the ceiling so we could not open it to air it out.

I loved the property, everyone was so helpful. Place is just what you'd expect from a little Italian Inn, nothing fancy but very sweet. Paulo at the front desk was especially helpful to us. If I ever return to Florence I will request the same room at this place, right next to the court yard with fruit trees, very nice

The hotel was okay. It was in a great location and the staff was friendly enough and 24hr front desk. We stayed here because of the location and the price. The breakfast was not very good, which is fine. To be honest, I would give a higher review if it wasn’t for the WiFi. It was NOT included and they seemed to charge you per day. Making guests pay for the WiFi just seemed petty and they charged PER device which was €5 a day. So annoying.

Lovely hotel, good base for all tourist sights. Lovely breakfast. Very accommodating staff. The outside terrace was very nice to sit and have a beer in the evening.

Worst service ever
Me and my family was meant to stay at this hotel for 3 nights, unfortunately the card details were wrong but the hotel never contact me to let me know there was an error with the card so instead they cancelled the reservation without letting me know and for our surprise when we got to the hotel the staff told us he has no room for us. Also she was really really rude and raised her voice to us. Worst service ever!

Paolo the front desk was amazing. Nice, friendly and informational. The room temperature was warm had to complain 3 to 4 times to get them to cool the room still wasn’t down well all the way. Room refrigerator didn’t work. Complained about it got someone to look at it twice but didn’t cool water at all. They said that’s how it worked. Water in shower didn’t drain well but they said that’s how it was suppose to be. Breakfast was too crowded need some sort of way to organize it better.

+ Convenient location. + Satisfactory breakfast-buffet. - Air conditioning in the room was controlled centrally so you cannot change the temperature. You can only turn it on or off. - Air conditioner filters are not clean. You can feel it from the smell and we got seriously sick after staying there. - There is a problem with the sewer system and there was constant sewage-like smell in the hotel. - Room was smaller than advertised. - No free wi-fi.

The hotel was very minimal and the receptionist was pretty rude. WiFi isnt free, storing luggage cost a fee, rooms were cold because You couldn’t control it from your room. Though the decor was kind of cute, borderline tacky they literally charge you for everything which was what ruined our experience.

Bed Bugs, Bed Bugs, Bed Bugs and more Bed Bugs. After 3 weeks in Italy, different hotel every night, bed bugs only here for 4 nights! I finally went to a store, bought a spray can of bug killer, tore apart the beds and sprayed everywhere. The room could be much cleaner than it was. Mosquitoes too. This was the only place where they were a problem. Also, out of about 6 different desk staff, one was extremely grumpy and should seek different employment. Other staff were very helpful.

Handy location
Basic but good, with friendly helpful staff, but a good idea to get down to breakfast early as it can get busy as you get closer to finish time! Shame the fridge in the room didn't work. A nice hotel, only 10-15 min walk to heart of Florence's galleries, museums, cathedral etc.

Nice hotel, friendly staffs and spacious room.
We arrived in Florence on Aug. 2017. The first impression is that the hotel has good decorations, with a historical feel. The hotel staff is friendly and made you feel at home. The electric plug in Florence doesn't compatible with other places in Europe. But luckily, the hotel staff gave me an adapter.

The stay was okay. Reception staff not very happy. There was no cell signal in my room and of course because the wifi was not free I had to pay for it to have any use of my cell phone in my room. I explained this to the reception and she was not sympathetic in the least. The bed, bedding, linens, etc very outdated. Good location, 10 minute walk to train station and 10 to Duomo and other sights.
