For my wife and I this was a superb choice for a five day break in Florence. Its location is ideal, right in the heart of the city, literally everything is within walking distance. As for the property; it is clean, comfortable and has a homely feel. The breakfast was spot on. Perfect coffee and plenty of homemade and Italian produce and the owner, Patricia was engaging, knowledgable and the perfect host.

Great stay! Patricia was a wonderful host and took great care of us since the day before our arrival. Great location, very well decorated room, excellent breakfast. Perfectly clean, a/c worked perfectly. In summary a great place but the best of all great guest service by Patricia. Fully recommend.

Loved our stay at the B&B Cimitori which was very central to all the best of ancient Florence. Located on a narrow but busy side street close to the Duomo, it was quite quiet at night. Greatest shower you could ask for, a lovely included breakfast, and the very best hostess--Patricia--who gave extremely knowledgeable advice about all the best sights to see and where to shop. The only draw back would be the 42-43 stairs you must climb (tough for older folks or those with heavy baggage), but I gather Patricia is working on getting the other tenants to consider the wisdom of fitting in a small elevator. We would definitely visit again. Excellent choice!

The best place we stayed at in Italy.
I have never been anywhere with a better host. Extremely friendly, welcomed us on arrival, gave us fantastic recommendations and chatted over breakfast. By the way the home made breakfast was amazing.

Such a highlight of our trip. This B&B was very clean, spacious, extremely well located and had all amenities we needed. The extra bonus was a supermarket immediately down stairs. Patricia the host was an absolute star. She was full knowledge and just so friendly. The breakfast was spectacular and Patricia makes all of the pastries fresh each morning. Furthermore, she was excellent in accomodating my need for gluten free options. We felt very welcome. Such a delightful stay.

Cimatoriis right in the heart of the old city of Florence between the Duomo and the Piazza del Signori. The area has lots of character. The B&B itself is excellent and the host Patricia made us, and the other guests, extremely welcome. A truly wonderful place to stay.

This hotel was very spacious and comfortable. We were welcomed with a laminated list of restaurant, dessert, etc. recommendations for our stay. The included breakfast was delicious. The hotel offered free umbrellas if needed. It was central and walkable to everything (five mins to the main square and cathedral and Ponte Vecchino). When we checked out, reception asked where we were going next and proceeded to send multiple food and drink recommendations for Rome. Highly recommend!

Very nice room with attractive decor, updated bathroom and nice breakfast. Close to everything and loved Girona restaurant across the street. Only stairs to second floor so not for everyone. Helped me work off pasta.

They emailed me the day before to ask my arrival time. I arrived 1 hour after the check in time and the room was not ready. It took them 3 extra hours to give us the room. The worst was that I asked them to leave the room 1 hour later and they said no. Breakfast is ok but mainly pastries, they should incorporate at least a yogurt. The bathroom was super small. The hotel is in the second floor with no stairs. The reception girl was very nice and provided useful tips to visit the city.

Dear Mr. Juan Lucci, We have chosen to respond to you and put things into perspective. The "reception girl" you mentioned, to whom you spoke in a condescending manner is by chance the "hotel owner". In all our publications it is written that the rooms are usually ready from 15 o'clock and the departure until 11 o'clock. You arrived before the time of delivery of the room and we allowed you to leave your belongings safely after. After expressing your disappointment from minute one of arrival we offered you to move to another hotel without us charging (as we could) and you chose not to do so. (maybe to be able to write a bad review ?) At the time of departure you asked to stay in the room beyond the infamous departure time which would have offended another guest who would have received the room very late. Again, we allowed you to leave your belongings at the hotel for long hours after 11 while we kept them safely and even left you with a key. The hotel, is located in the most central place in Florence, in an 600-year-old building and unfortunately at the time it was built there were no elevators. Contrary to what you wrote the hotel has a stairwell where the ascent is very convenient. We are happy that all our other guests do not feel like you and choose to mention this in all their experiences with us. Cordially Yours, "Reception Girl".

Amazing place, great location and lovely host.
We stayed 3 days in Cimatori and we can only say it is amazing. The location is extraordinary, just 3 min from the main places and 10 min walk from the train station. The house is beautiful, very clean comfortable bed and ensuite bathroom. Patricia, the host was lovely. She helped us when we arrived by giving us some advice on sites to visit and places to eat... Really good breakfast and of course great coffee. Thanks for everything. We do recommend this place and I have no doubts we'll choose it if we visit Florence again.

My daughter stayed with Patricia while she waited to move into her dorm and she told me that she felt like she had found her Italian mother. Her room was beautiful, the food delicious and the hostess was so kind. I feel so lucky that we found this place. We will be staying there any time we are in Florence.

Great Place to Stay
I had a wonderful stay. Patricia is really nice, smart & incredibly helpful. Her Breakfast spread that she bakes from early in the morning was deliscious with many options & delights. I met great people and had interesting conversations at breakfast She made it homey, relaxed with good suggestions. It is on a side street & up stairs. Close to everything. Felt like coming home at night Helpful service Even right down to the cab to my flight out. I highly recommend.

There is a new owner, Patricia, who is wonderful! She's very friendly, very helpful, and if you're lucky like we were, she makes wonderful homemade bread! We looked forward to the breakfast each day! We were made to feel very comfortable. The location is ideal as well. Would stay again!

The rooms are big compared to most hotels in Florence. The bathroom is very nice and is newly renovated. The owner, Patricia was very very accommodating and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel - would definitely book again. *Please note that there is NO elevator. If you have difficulty climbing stairs, this may not be the hotel for you.

Perfect Florence getaway!
Patricia is a kind and amazing host. As soon as we arrived we were warmly welcomed and even given recommendations of the best places to visit in Florence. The room had perfect air conditioning and was beautiful and clean! We were made to feel right at home and after only spending 1 night in Florence we wanted to stay longer because of the great hospitality! Breakfast was so nice in the morning with a selection of pastries, cereals, teas and coffees. The location is right in the heart of Florence with great tourist spots such as Ponte Vecchio and the cathedral nearby. 10/10 would visit again and recommend to everyone!

It was centrally located, the room was modern, clean and comfortable. The owner was very professional and friendly and looked after us well at breakfast making sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend.
