With an independent entrance, on a picturesque street, just 150m from the Ponte Vecchio, this studio is both cute and functional. The living space has terracotta tiled floors and high wooden ceilings. There are two contemporary armchairs, a flatscreen TV and a dining table for 2 people. The open-plan corner kitchen is equipped with a cooker hob, fridge, freezer, Mokka coffee maker and washing machine. There is also a breakfast bar with 2 stools for enjoying an espresso or an aperitivo. Open stairs lead up to the mezzanine bedroom. There is storage on the ground floor for guests’ belongings. Sleeping On the mezzanine level, there is a double bed, with reading light and a roller blind, separating the bed from the living area. Bathroom On the ground floor, this charming bathroom, decorated with turquoise mosaics, has a shower, basin, bidet and WC Additional • Free wifi • Central heating • Air conditioning • Washing machine • Baby cot available, but it limits space • Books library • Paid parking \\"Ponte Vecchio\\" 140m away, Public parking 300m away, car not necessary; Parking suggestion: It would be better parking at the Villa Costanza exit on the A1 highway (Parking 1-week cost €20), and take the Tramvia to the centre (20 minutes) • Smoke detector • Mandatory waste disposal as required by municipal regulations • Town tax of €5.5/day for people over 12 years old, to be paid for the first 7 days of your stay, to be paid on the spot • If necessary, Gas for heating must be paid on the spot: € 1,2/mc. Location It is hard to find a more central location than this quiet street, just 2 minutes\\' walk from the Ponte Vecchio. This studio is really the perfect base to explore the city. The south bank of the River Arno, known as “Oltrarno”, has a lot to recommend it. The Piazza Santo Spirito (9 minutes) hosts many different markets and the fun continues into the night when the local trattorie and bars come to life. The better-known sites, including the Uffizi gallery, the Duomo, Piazza della Repubblica are all within a 10 to 20 minute walk from the studio. For some peace and quiet then guests should head to the Boboli Gardens, behind the Pitti Palace (10 minutes walk) where you can spend an afternoon admiring the fountains and statues. If guests want to cook at home, then the variety of produce at the Mercato Centrale (19 minutes) is unparalleled. There is also an organic farmers’ market in Piazza Santo Spirito on the 3rd Sunday of each month. Otherwise, there are shops selling everything you could need within walking distance of the apartment. Small but comfortable. Kitchen could use some additional items to make cooking easier. The loft was comfortable but might be awkward climbing the narrow winding stair case up to it for a larger person. Bathroom was small but nice. The area is quiet at night. Property is uphilll from the main road near the river. The location was close to amenities and close walks to tourist sites on either side of the river. ##### John N. La poubelle a l'intérieur était extremement sale, Le lave linge ne fonctionnait pas l'hôte m'a répondu qu'il ne comprenait pas qu'avant il fonctionnait et qu'il y avait un lavoir tout près (nous y sommes allés5.00 euros laver et 5.50 euros sécheuse) . De plus lorsque j'ai réserver à partir du Canada j'avais écris pour demander si il y avait un stationnement. La réponse de VRBO etait oui avec un lien pour réserver ce stationnement qui en fait etait a plus d'une heure de l'appartement. L'hote m'a répondu qu'il n'aurait pas fallut louer d'auto. Nous avons perdu les frais de location du stationnement payée à l'avance et en trouver un tres expendieux plus près. Donc mauvaise information de VRBO. Le seul point positif est que l'appartement est près de tout ce qu'il y a à visiter. ##### Lucie P.
