Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was excellent. Clean and very comfortable. I really enjoy the convivence of the hotel being right on a tram stop which made it easy to get to the train station or downtown Amsterdam. Breakfast for 18 EUR was an excellent all you could eat affair with many selections to choose from. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone visiting Amsterdam.

The front desk staff was very helpful and helped us navigate the tram system. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The beds were firm, which I prefer. The provided shower gel and body wash wasn’t very good, so bring your own. Great stay here and located in a good area.

Highly recommend - really enjoyable stay
Really enjoyed our stay here - the room was really spacious and was not expecting such a huge bed! It came equipped with a mini fridge and coffee machine which were really nice additions, and was generally a very nice room. Loved the bathroom, a really big shower complete with a heated floor!! Which was an amazing touch, all in all felt pretty luxurious. The downstairs lounge area is really nice, modern and comfortable, and we were able to leave our bags there for the day after check out, and collected later on. The staff were really friendly. Vending machines downstairs included pot noodles and various other snacks, really good if you’re cut short and peckish. Can’t comment on the restaurant as we did not have breakfast there. Transport links really good, there is a tram stop right outside so really accessible to get to, but if you don’t mind a walk it’s less than an hour into central Amsterdam, we walked into town most days and got the tram back. Literally the only negative I have to say is that the pizza vending machine was out of order - that was such a shame as I was so excited when I saw it - I’ve never seen a pizza vending machine before.

Had several problems with room 8. The in-room safe did not work, the heater had to be controlled by the front desk, the shower leaked water all over the bathroom floor and the coffee maker didn't work that great. The second night, there was no hot water in the shower. Lots of street noise. On the plus side, the breakfast buffet was fantastic. Also the tram stop just outside the door was very convenient.

Very happy with the staff and hotel. Cheap and cheerful. Close to transport links and food shop. Only criticism is that we were stuck in the lift (which seems to also have happened to others when reading the reviews. It was very scary, as the lift dropped twice before becoming stuck between two floors. We never used it again afterwards, so had to walk up to our room on floor four.

The property was clean and nice. No complaints about the hotel and its location. The only issue I had is the self service check in and check out service or lack of service. They guide you through checking in and out and assigning your room to the key card while they guide you or watch you. I felt like I was doing their job. Absolutely, ridiculous. I can understand providing this option if wanted but why should I do this as a paying customer and have the hotel employees instruct me on their duties while they watch me. Not impressed.

Lovely hotel and wonderful staff! We arrived early and could not check in but stowed our luggage and went for lunch. At 1:30 arrived back and waited and at 2:15 they finally said for 5 euro we could check in. So to check in 45 min early cost 5 euro. Really!
