Ignore the free parking offered by the hotel. There are only maybe 6 spaces on a road layby in front of the hotel. You will need to use the underground parking which is 24 euros /day. And this will charge everytime you take your car in and out

The room was a nice size, and the beds were comfortable. When we arrived at 2 pm for check-in, they told us it would be another hour -- the hotel was fully booked, and housekeeping had gotten behind. But they were able to let us in at 2:30 pm, so it really wasn't too bad -- they were very apologetic. It's a short walk to the train station and bus station, and Oude Markt and Grote Markt are about a 20-minute walk. (You can also take one of the city buses for 2 euro -- but I'm not sure how late or frequently they run. There's a restaurant and bar at the hotel, and it is essentially next door to the Stella Artois brewery, if you're interested in doing a tour there. Overall, my husband, son, and I had a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Would not stay here again and the hotel really lets the Novotel brand down. Rude reception staff, no willingness to make the wrong right, beds not made up ready on checkin, tissue box empty in bathroom, soap empty, not enough towels in room, not enough cups for coffee and tea. Would never stay here again.

Basic rooms, convenient location next to train st.
The hotel is conveniently located close to the train station in Leuven (if being to the train station is important for your trip), but despite it's "Centrum" name is a good 20' minute walk away from the center of Leuven. The staff of the hotel is pleasant and service was excellent. The hotel seems to be in a rather industrial area with views of the Stella Artois Brewery and of another industrial side on the other side. For the price and the Novotel name, I honestly expected a bit more from the rooms in this Novotel Centrum hotel.

There is free roadside parking if you get there early, otherwise there is a underground car park with limited capacity at 20 euros per day. Staff were helpful, wifi very good, breakfast and dinner also very good. I was there during an August heatwave and I can confirm that the aircon is first rate - thank you! Also a very good shower. Easy walk to the city centre and it is a city well worth visiting. No reason to doubt the cleanliness, but there was a strange smell of drains each morning.

The only thing I was disappointed with was that there is very limited parking in the car park and on the street. We had to go park 5-10 minutes away from the hotel. Late at night it was inconvenient. I found the staff to be friendly and accommodating.

It was overall ok, the bed is not comfortable and the reception was not accommodating when we arrive .the hotel was noot booked and we had to wait several hours to check in. I had small issue with a lady at breakfast when i arrived close to 10am not knowing that it does close at that time because we told at arrival breakfast stays all the way to 11am instead. She was very rude her boss very friendly and accommodating.

Lovely hotel, friendly helpful staff, good location, short walk to the centre of Leuven. Drawbacks, the mattresses and pillows were not good so none of us slept very well. There was no information provided about breakfast so we had no idea if it was included or not. Each morning there was breakfast provided but no staff to check your room number or advise. We had breakfast at the hotel and on checkout we were asked if we had breakfast we said yes and we were charged €21 per person per day which was too expensive for the quality of the food provided.
