Highly recommended, beautiful place to stay!
Charming hotel located close to town, great location for our needs. Wonderful breakfast buffet! Our bathroom had a tub but no shower. I didn’t mind this but worth noting if a standing shower is needed.

I would not hesitate to stay again. Staff very friendly & helpful. Very spacious room, food and beer in the evening was well presented. Breakfast which was included in the price was one of the best I have had in these recent Covid times. A vey welcoming hotel.

Lovely old building with character
The Lodge is situated in a lovely old tastefully converted building with large rooms, although basic – very clean. The Lodge has a really nice atmosphere and makes you feel welcome. The receptionist was very helpful, pleasant and welcoming. Very friendly and helpful staff, (so much so we parked our car facing the wrong way and the guy at the bar advised us to spin it around before we got a heavy fine – thanks!). Across the road is a lovely park, and a nice stroll along the river takes you to the centre of Leuven (about a 20 minute stroll). Beware the restaurant on site can be very expensive! We returned from our evening out in town for coffee and a desert here and had 2 cappuccinos and 2chocolate deserts - €27.60! Ouch!!

Very clean, spacious, efficient. Great location for trips out of Leuven and to Brussels. Staff could be a bit more friendly (especially in the restaurant/breakfast area) but levels of service are good nevertheless.

This hotel was an old mansion changed to lodge. Rooms were big but it misses even the basic amenities. Room was full of dust and smell and i got allergic immediately. There is no proper room service too. Overall it lacks a comfortable stay

Clean rustic and great hospitality
Hotel is old farm inn next to small castle and close to Imec. Limit eats in area So if you do not have car dining options are limited. Hotel has restaurant but is pricy. Good Greek across street. Rooms are clean with rustic character. Third time staying in hotel.

The Lodge Heverlee
The Lodge is situated in a lovely old building tastefully converted - the stables and coachhouses to Arenberg Palace which is set in lovely park settings across the road . Friendly and helpful staff. The Lodge has a really nice atmosphere and makes you feel at home. The breakfast is a very good self serve selection with a good range of choices. On street parking is easily found and there is teally good bus access to the centre of Leuven at the front door. i am returning in a few weeks and I am very glad i made that decision when i booked my original trip.

Pleasant stay
The Lodge is an interestingly renovated old building with bare bricks and rafters in abundance. The rooms are comfortable and functional and the staff pleasant and helpful.

Charming hotel at Heverlee
Loved the charm of the hotel - rustic farmhouse with some contemporary pieces. Very well done. Loved the vaulted wood beams in the room. Only complaint was no shelf in bathroom (had to bring barstool from room into bathroom to put my toiletries on). Went for incredible nature walk right down the street. Would definitely stay here again.

Good hotel
a one night stay at this hotel, the receptionist was very helpful, pleasant and welcoming. The room was very spacious and clean, the bathroom a bit cold in the morning but otherwise everything was in the correct place. It is located in a quiet area outside of the student noise of Leuven but accessible to the city center.

I stayed here to attend a conference at the KU Leuven across the street. The hotel is a renovated farmhouse, with all of the quirkiness and charm you'd expect. I found it to be one of the best accommodations of this type in which I have had the pleasure of staying in Europe. The hotel is in an upscale neighborhood which is very beautiful, and it's about a 30 minute walk to downtown (or you could take the bus, which stops right out front).

Value for money in old building but modern twist
We booked The Lodge for a city trip in Leuven. Nice hotel, a beautiful restored old building with a lot of the elements restored in the rooms. Good beds, quiet environment, nice breakfast, a short walk to the Begijnenhof.

old farm. a bit of charm but cold in some places and a bit noisy due to wood structure. Hotel service was excellent, and convenient possibility of parking. Restaurant: fodd was great, but service very very slow. Breakfast was fine and pleasant too. Good experience overall and great for porximity of KU Leuven @ Heverlee.

Good for a one night business trip. Bedroom was interesting with bath/shower in same room behind a partition. Also had to watch out for the large beams in the room as the room was in the room space. Breakfast is a fairly limited continental buffet.

A Unique Hotel that I would stay at again and again...
Pulling up to the hotel, you first notice the uniqueness and beauty of the hotel. The staff was extremely accomodating. We arrived around 11 in the morning, and the representative walked us up to our room (there is no elevator). The room wasn't ready, but we were able to store our luggage and she quickly had the cleaning staff clean up the room. The room was awesome with a comfy bed, excellent decor (exposed logs from the original lodge), and a nice bathroom. The Lodge was also equipped with free wireless Internet. The restaurant, although a little pricy, was delicious with great service (and popular with the locals). My husband and I visited eight countries and stayed in 11 hotels on this trip and the Heverlee Lodge was always on the top of our list.

Lekker ontbijt
Op het eerste blik, is het mooie en prachtige ruimte en mooie balken. Maar als je verder kijkt behoeft de kamer wel hier en daar een opknapbeurt. Stoel stuk, beetje als een studentenkamer ingericht. Handdoeken rek los, haardroger hangt los, bedspiraal voel je. En airco maakt kabaal. Het ontbijt is wel supee.
