We also noticed how well maintained everything was on the property and how perfect it was. Me and my wife are very prone to getting bit by mosquitos and didnt get a single bite even without any repellant. The pond was stocked with fish. The paddle boat was a nice addition. We enjoyed using the very nice grill they provided. The welcome binder included everything we wanted to know on arrival and the friendly hosts messaged me prior with details on how to get in. The property is beautiful, offering plenty of activities like small trails and kayaking. The home itself was very clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen was decently stocked, and we frequently used it for cooking and grilling throughout the weekend. Situated in the Texas countryside, the location naturally comes with its share of bugs and critters. The kids enjoyed exploring and discovering different types of insects around the property. Despite being diligent about keeping the doors closed, we did find a few small scorpions inside the house.
