"Overall I enjoyed my stay but as feedback for this property owner, I feel obligated to let them know about some issues below: The unit could use some added attention to cleanliness. The bed linens (pillows, duvet) could use replacing and/or a really good washing. I had to use my own pillow because the pillows smelled like dirty hair and I had to turn the duvet upside down because one of the corners smelled like bad body odor. The bed sheets were clean, but the items contained in the clean linens...

Bob was accommodating and kind and let us check out a couple of hours late. There are just a few things we wish we had known before: 1) All of the rooms are connected! Each bedroom leads to another bedroom and another and so on. Along with that, not all rooms are on central AC making it hard to provide...

"My children went on a trip with their mother and I wanted a quick getaway to ride my bicycle in the area (Bastrop to Smithville) and get some hills in my ride. It was perfect spot to be based from and convenient to local sites as well. M&M (Mike & Maxine) were great hosts. Very clean and historical Cabin. The inside is very modern.
