The service was amazing! The park itself was jam packed with activities for the kids, amenities were clean, loved the café van too 😁 Will DEFINTELY be back soon 💯👌

Great play to stay, we will be back. Very helpful and caring staff, loved the big camps sites, and they offer food on site, like pizza one night or fish and chips, if you don’t feel like cooking..lots of things for the young humans to do to... great camp kitchen setup..even though your next to the airport, the noise from that only last a couple of seconds...

ill stay again comfortable pet friendly clean
We stayed in the studio cabin, cabin was spacious with queen bed and 2 seater couch. The aircon was a great size and cooled the cabin down very quickly. Cutlery and cooking facilities in the kitchenette were more than essential. Easily to stay in and cook a decent meal. Bathroom spacious and great water pressure in shower. Staff at the park weRe so friendly and helpful and a plus that the park was pet friendly we could take our puppy. Pet friendly but incredibly clean throughout all the park.

Hi Shantelle, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. If you would like to contact us directly to discuss your comments, we would be happy to take your call. As we can not find your actual name in our system, we have only had one Wotif booking for the date of the 25th April. It was booked for 2 people but in fact had 4 people staying in the apartment. Angie the owner kindly requested on departure that the guests pay for the additional two persons. We are sorry if you felt this was not an appropriate request, however, all our room rates are based on two adults sharing & any extra adults are to be declared & paid for at time of booking. The question was also asked directly on arrival of how many people were staying in the 2 bedroom apartment & we were told 2 were staying however when you handed your keys to the owner she noticed 4 people in the car & kindly requested that you pop into office & make the additional payment which you were happy to do.

Easy check in
We were unable to get a reasonable room price in Airlie Beach from Expedia. We booked this, not really realising it was a drive from town,,, about 5-7 min drive. Check in & out was quick & easy. Friendly staff.

Perfect for our family
We loved that Flametree was a bit out of town, but still close enough (if you have a car) to everything. The room was spacious, well equipped and clean. A "normal" size fridge was a great addition for those staying a bit longer. The beds were in good condition and the shower head was AWESOME - definitely not a water saving one. The grounds were immaculate and clearly well looked after. We really enjoyed our stay!

Cheap simple accommodation but you need transport
The Flametree Tourist Village was a typical caravan park with some cabin style accommodation. I stayed in a cabin capable of accommodating up to 5 people in 2 double beds and one single bed. I was on my own so there was plenty of room. The cabin had Ac and a ceiling fan and the private bathroom and toilet were fine. The kitchenette was equipped with a good size refrigerator, cooktop and MW oven. They also provide other appliances such as electric fry pan, toaster and electric jug. The only other furniture was a plastic table and chairs were functional if not very comfortable.The grounds outside the cabin which were spacious and well kept and there was suitable outdoor table and chairs on the porch. Flamtree is located halfway between Airlie Beach an Shute Harbour and although there is a regular bus service you really need personal transport. There was a good sized pub and IGA grocery store 5 mins by car and Airlie beach was only 5 minutes further down the road. The only issue I had was it is next door to the Shute Harbour airport and the Sky Dive plane starts taking off just after first light at 6am in the morning.

Great Value
The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Couldn't fault the roos...very clean. We were there overnight, but would suggest a great spot for an affordable family get away.

Friendly staff. Clean cabin pretty well stocked a little small and chairs very flimsey. Location out of Airlee but you know that when you book. Generally pleased with our stay

Not for me again.
The only reason I'd return here was because it is "pet friendly". Fortunately I don't have a pet. Sharing a fence with the local airport is self explanatory. We couldn't use the chairs in the room because the backs were so weak we could even rest back let alone lean back in them. They have swapped comfort for economy by squeezing 1 x Dble bed, 1 x sgl bed and a set of bunks (lower bed a dbl) into a room 4m x 6m along with the table 4 (useless) chairs and the kitchen. The temp and pressure of the shower varied minute by minute and the toilet flush was so deprived of water that it often required me to fill the bathroom 'tidy' with water and pour it down the pedestal to empty the contents. Mob phone reception was non-existant and even the TV reception dropped out often. The overall presentation was cheap and reeked of DIY repairs by amatuers (I renovate for a business and spotting amature work is easy). Sorry but I wouldn't return there.
