"The owners could not have made us feel more welcome. The gardens and pool are well kept and lovely to be in. The kitchen was well equipped and for the first time, we didn't have to buy any utensils, chopping boards, pans etc. A great place for a relaxing holiday in beautiful scenery."

We could not fault our stay at this property, the weather also helped as it was sunny and warm everyday. Well worth a visit. "Fabulous place to stay for a peaceful time in beautiful Tuscany. The pool area was amazing and the views stunning. The eating area was lovely also with fabulous views. The properties were well equipped and the tortoises and donkeys were a hit. Barga is just down the road and is delightful with lots of bars and restaurants. "This property should never be offered for rent. Our lives were in danger just driving up the narrow roads to arrive at the property. Once we finally did arrive we returned to the base of the mountain extremely stressed without staying the night. VRBO should not be representing this property nor should any other broker of rentable properties."

"The property was a comfortable transition from a regular hotel room. We enjoyed the outdoor patios and used the kitchen for breakfast 2 days and the washing machine several times. The only issue was the third floor stairs after a steady hill climb- for those with mobility issues- this property would be impossible. We hope to return next year. "

"It was a real unusual property, a rustic village house. There is a little known castle ruin a short walk up the hill. Loved the washing machine, fire, cat and the helpful owner. It is hard to find, park at the town crossroads and walk up and right. But the locals will point you to it."
