Clean room but very small and tiny bathroom

Posted 19-Aug-2017
Pros: Proximity to tube.
Cons: Difficult to say because due to the type of building it will always have small rooms and they really are small.
Location: Not the best area but close enough to the tube with a 20 minute ride into central London.
Hotel is clean and convenient for the tube at Manor House. We chose it primarily because of parking (which is charged daily). The room itself was very small and overlooked the main road. There was no aircon, just a small electric fan so we had to sleep with the window open because it was just too hot. The road is busy 24hrs so it was difficult to sleep with the noice of the traffic. For what we paid I would have expected better.

Great position opposite Finsbury Park

Posted 22-May-2017 on Ebookers
Pros: Cleanliness, friendly staff and only 10 mins to the next day's destination.
Cons: Larger room/bathroom. View.
Location: Opposite Finsbury Park and near to West Reservoir for my swim event next day .
Very clean, friendly staff, good parking area and bar facility and very convenient for our destination the next day - West Reservoir - BUT room and bathroom VERY small and in basement so wouldn't have wanted to stay more than 1 or 2 nights.

As you would expect from Best Western

Posted 22-May-2017
Pros: see above
Cons: see above
Location: Just came to go to a party at the Woodberry Wetlands. Very nice.
Good standard room with everything you need. Clean & tidy with helpful staff and good breakfast. I only have two negative comments but really don't let these put you off: - the bath towels have now been shrunk to more resemble hand towels! - the wardrobe has now lost its front and sides so you are left looking at your hanging clothes right next to the television. Just seems to me to be another step too far trying to save money. Overall you perhaps pay a little more for a branded room but you also have the reasonable degree of certainty that you are going to get a nice room and everything works. So, 4 out of 5.

Staff couldn't have been more helpful.

Posted 15-May-2017
Pros: The friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was very good.
Cons: Nothing...
Location: Hotel is close to two tube stations.
Staff were friendly and very helpful.. They adjusted the check in and check out times to suit our needs and helped us with bus routes. We couldn't have asked for more. Thank you so much!
