"Beautiful family friendly hotel close to the sight"
What a wonderful five night stay at the Omni. From the attention given to my kids, to the cookies and milk awaiting us in the room in the evening, the cleanliness, the professionalism at the front desk and concierge, and to the all round relaxing feel of the hotel. Thank you for making us so welcome and we hope to return again someday.
From the moment we walked through the door, the service given to us was a 10. Excellent staff, knowledgeable concierge, & relaxing rooms. This was my first stay at a Loews property, I will definitely be looking for a Loews property whenever we travel.
This hotel is my favorite in the entire city. Great staff. Nice happy hour, free, in front of the fireplace and the most convenient location in the city. It is next to all hubs of transportation in San Francisco. Get a bay view to enjoy the whole experience.
The room is a little small but it was cozy and nice. The location was good. It was close to Chinatown and the shopping streets and embarcadero center. About 30-40 minutes away from Berkeley and 10-20 minutes from Oakland!
I had a single room. And though that was not much different in price to a hotel the friendliness of staff and fellow travellers, and the washing facilities and evening meals, and being walking distance from great places made it worth it. The room was a bit worn, but generally clean and the bed very comfortable. A real wide age range of travellers shared experiences over breakfast.
I was here on business for a week. The Hotel is situated 4 blocks from the trans america building and at the edge of Chinatown. The other side of the street is little italy. The hotel is quiet and is well taken care of. The beds are a little hard. The only downside is that one block away is the heart of the strip clubs/ gentlemen s clubs. If you are into that then it won't bother you. You can walk different paths to avoid it. Fisherman's Wharf is a 20 min walk thru little italy. Lots of good restaurants around.

Pocket Guide: San Francisco Financial District - Ferry Building Hotels
The bulls and bears of industry tread the streets of the Financial District, home to the city’s tallest buildings, including the iconic Transmerica Pyramid. The towers give way to The Embarcadero, the broad, palm-lined avenue that begins at the San Francisco Giant’s AT&T Park and ends at Fisherman’s Wharf. The road passes by the Ferry Building, a landmark transformed into an artisanal food market.
