a "tired" hotel

Posted 25-Sep-2017
Pros: Location to Puyallup fairgrounds and price under $100.
Cons: Obvious repairs should be done. A little more attention to details.
Location: Easy and uncongested access to Puyallup fairgrounds though it may seem like "back roads"
A very simple hotel which was okay as I was looking for inexpensive. Staff was available and nice. However there were very obvious long tears in carpet and outside entry card key reader wouldn't always work. There was a dead fly squished on the wall. The 2nd day clean towels were left by the sink instead of put into the wire rack holders. There were no towel bars that I saw by the sink or in the bathroom.

Hotel needs a lot of work!

Posted 03-Sep-2017
Pros: The staff was friendly and helpful - elevator was not working when we arrived - staff carried luggage to 2nd story for us and other family members
Cons: Everything! - outdated and not well maintained - careful cleaning is lacking - hotel could be nice with serious money and effort invested
Location: location is convenient to freeway - near an industrial area - no major restaurants or shopping areas nearby - need to drive a ways for both
Staff was friendly and helpful - elevator didn't work twice during our overnight stay - hotel is very rundown and not clean - wallpaper torn in our room - window screen torn and hanging on to sides - hotel and our room were not clean in some areas - everything very run down - public doors in hallways and stairwells were filthy (needed someone to clean them) - surprisingly, the bed was very comfortable - it could be a nice place to stay with some serious money put into upgrading this hotel - we've stayed at Guesthouse Inns before that were great - we would not stay at this one again!

Terrible service & old facility

Posted 29-Aug-2017
Not worth staying here, everything is old. Check in device is very unpleasant and breakfast and coffee were terrible.

Cheap but bad neighborhood

Room was clean but old looking. Shady characters hanging around at 2a.m. Guess you get what you pay for.

You get what you pay for.

Location: The hotel is located not far from the port. Outside there was definitely an aroma, however, inside was not bad.
This hotel was very inexpensive, and you get what you pay for. They could use some updates, but they did have a mini fridge and microwave in the room. The continental breakfast is over at 9 am sharp. Do not be late. The room was clean along with the bed sheets. That is all that really mattered to us.

They have us the keys after checking inn went to the room and it's not cleaned. After cleaning the sink drain really slow and it was a cigarette buds inside the drainage. Breakfast was terrible, no drink except milk and coffee. I asked for water and they said to get water from the faucet.

valuebyour health, don't stay here.

This was the most grotesque hotel I have EVER stayed in. To start, the lobby reeked of mold, then staying on the second floor, plenty of smells of marijuana emanated through out the hall way. I get to the room, and the curtains were falling off the rails, so no closed curtains, the lampshades were all discolored and nasty. The light switch covers were also discolored and dirty. When I looked for an open outlet to plug in my cell phone, the only one I could find had no outlet cover. Then I look at the bathroom and I see mold, FREAKIN MOLD on the ceiling I look at the shower curtain and guess what...MOLD!! I went back to the front desk, asked to be moved to a better, cleaner room, but no other rooms were available. I wound up spending even more to go a couple miles down the road to a real hotel. This place needs to be shut down, condemned, and gutted to get rid of the mold issues they clearly have. They are putting people's health and wellbeing at risk with their issues. There is no way I can strongly enough recommend you staying elsewhere. This place is not the place for you, me or any other living no breathing animal.
