"Nice clean room, friendly staff and tasty food. It’s a long walk from the train station and taxis generally finish servicing around 7 pm latest, so it’s more convenient to drive. "
"Incredible old hunting lodge under renovation. Mike was an amazing host, and can’t wait to see the whole renovation completed. We really enjoyed our time there. "
"Very welcoming and friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay there. It was a great place to stay whilst my husband and son climbed Snowden there was still things to do for those that didn't. Would recommend this hotel. "
"The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. Beddgelert was stunning. The breakfast was delicious. Ty Afon is also very close to Mount Snowdon if you're interested in climbing it. Thank you for our wonderful stay."
"Amazing location, housekeeper really nice! We had room upstairs looking at the mountains and it was amazing. We loved our stay. Recommend Beddgelert any time. "

"Only 2 of the 3 beds was made up upon arrival and there was brown marks on the bedding, however the kitchen was nice and clean. The internet didnt work in the bedrooms so had to go to the common room to use the main wifi. The outdoor space was a nice addition with a beautiful view. "

Quirky Character Cottage- Grade II Listed - perfect for exploring Snowdonia.
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely little cottage, owner Maggie sent lots of great information before you go. Kitchen is well equipped for all needs. Quiet little lane with the hills on doorstep for walking everyday. "
"Richard is very much the 'Host with the Most'. Very chatty and friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. He went above and beyond for us...Carrying our cases up to the top floor...And down again when we left. Plus he does a cracking packed lunch.
Our room was more than adequate, comfy and clean.
The only gripe from our point of view is that we'd prefer proper cups and spoons..."
"On arrival the house was lovely, very cosy, well decorated and furnished. However we soon had some major plumbing issues that unfortunately were never resolved. The bath plug got stuck in the plug hole meaning a bath full of dirty water that couldn't be drained, and so we couldn't use the bath/shower again. We contacted support and a lady did come out, but was unable to resolve the issue. She disappeared saying she was going to get a plumber and then we never saw or heard from her again. Luckily my husband eventually was able to remove the plug but we were then unable to use the bath for the rest of the trip, as the mechanism for raising/lowering the plug was broken, so we were unable to bathe our child. The bath/shower also leaks terribly so the bathroom floor was soaked after every use. The property is described as having a garden on the listing - it doesn't. it has an extremely small yard. This was disappointing as we had a dog with us so there was nowhere for her to roam. The area is also very disappointing. It's a dump, to put it kindly. The 'high street' is just full of empty decaying shops, There is a couple of convenience stores, a coffee shop and chippy, but it is not somewhere nice to explore or go for a walk, be prepared to drive to get to anywhere worth spending time. Also, the provision of some basics would be a nice touch, there was one binbag provided for a weeks stay, one toilet roll, not even any basics such as oil for cooking. "
"This property is definitely value for money. It is close to lots of things to do with the family in north wales. The house is not where Google maps thinks it is so make sure you follow the instructions from the property manager. And the payment don’t go through from VRBO to the property manager but that was sorted swiftly. The house itself is as described, kitchen was well equipped, the living room was big enough for the 7 of us and the bedrooms were perfect for a short stay. Overall we enjoyed our 4 days in north wales. "
Cosy Welsh Cottage near to Ffestiniog Railway, local beaches, walks & activities
10/10 Excellent
"Wonderful location. The cottage was warm and cosy and had everything we needed apart from a tin opener. Some of the baking trays were well worn. The beds were extremely comfortable. Parking was an issue and on arrival in the village a very rude woman told us there was only parking for their guests and nowhere for anyone else. "
