"We really loved the room. The town is in a scenic location and was very beautiful and quiet. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The beds we comfortable and the room was spacious. "It is situated in tranquil village around the old monastery. Check in, Restaurant and Bar are in main Hotel Kloster Haydau in approx. 100m distance from The Old Post Station. Private parking in Poststation private yards normally possible. Very friendly staff. This was my second night spent here, first was Year ago. Price performance ratio is splendid, and only some 30kms away from Autobahns, You can have nice and peaceful stay in rural area. I'll definitely reserve a room again."

"Unser Gastgeber, ein sehr netter Mann, empfing uns bei unserer Ankunft. Haus und Garten waren sauber und ordentlich. Die Küche war bestens ausgestattet. Draußen gibt es ein kleines Häuschen mit einem zusätzlichen Tisch, Stühlen, Spielzeug und einem Grill. Außerdem stehen Bücher (auf Deutsch) und verschiedene Spiele bereit. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Schwimmbad sind nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Herzliche Grüße, Einar und Familie"

"The room was very clean which made our overnight stay nice. The bed is old and you can feel the springs, anyways is good for a night. Que breakfast buffet is 15€ per adult, which I thought it was okey comparing other hotels we have stayed at in Germany, but this breakfast was not as expected, the quality is 5/10, variety 6.5/10. The restaurant next to the hotel is Italian, average 18€ per person, it was. 10/10, excellent service and tasty food. "

"Unbelievable experience!! Loved everything about this castle… if you want to stay in a 750+ year old castle with unbelievable staff, stay here! Restaurant was great, food amazing… Ano (not sure if I spelled it right) and his wife (and staff) were unbelievably accommodating. Highly recommend staying here! Definitely worth the trip and money… can’t wait to come back!"
