Was greeted on arrival by friendly English speaking concierge. Very pleasant! Very convenient location for touring or passing through area. Local village has pharmacy (open), bar (closed) and restaurant (open). Plenty of parking in this scenic, peaceful location. Liked it so much I booked it again for my return journey!

Lovely hotel
Really nice, clean and spacious apartment at this hotel. Located in a beautiful village. Stayed with 3 kids. Very nice breakfast too.

Beautifully picturesque former stud farm
We had a clean, quiet, and very comfortable 2 room apartment. We walked around the little town - gorgeous old church and castle l within walking distance, and we ate at a sweet little Italian restaurant. Totally recommend!

The two floor suit is great. The kitchen is equipped with dishes, silverware, and several pots. We were very comfortable and look forward to returning.

We stayed here after visiting Waterloo memorial. Although spacious there were no "extras" no tea bags/coffee, no washing up liquid, no salt/pepper. Skimped on towels.

Our special place in Belgium
We like to spend time at le Manoir when we visit friends and family. The suite are perfect for spending time, doing a bit of cooking if we feel so. Plenty of good restaurants in Nivelles nearby.

My get-away when I visit Belgium
We enjoy being there as we visit family and friends in Belgium. The facilities are well maintained and the suite are perfect for relaxing, some limited cooking and just staying there.

Lovely place in a beautiful rural location.
Very friendly staff who gave us a warm greeting. Clean, well kept rooms. Beds were comfortable. WIFI was not good. We had a suite on the first floor with one set of stairs to climb. Location was in a quiet, lovely village. Close to shopping mall with several restaurants to choose from (10 min car ride near Nivelles). We would definitely stay here again.

Interesting property
The room layout was great with plenty of room to stretch out. It wasn't the cleanest place though with dirt in the corners and behind the doors. The shower was badly designed with a quarter of a wall and no shower curtain which meant you soaked the bathroom. The check in / out was friendly and helpful.

Convenient and relaxing
Very convenient hotel with large room and a kitchen/living room in the countryside. Very quiet but close to the city of Nivelles and the highway Brussels to Paris.

Rented best suite
We had traveled with two little kids and rented best available two bedroom suite. Our disappointment was that the suite was located on two levels and stairs were very unsafe - steep and no railing. Another prober was no cleaning in the room during our stay. Also, we were overcharged for extra services, now resolving this with Expedia.

Great Hotel, beautiful location
Great Hotel, Luxury Suite was a spacious room with 2 floors, upper floor housed a sitting area and a kitchenette. Lower floor was the bedroom and bathroom. Free Wifi not very good at all, signal strength superb but the bandwidth was very limiting. Very comfortable bed.

Best Pillows in Europe
This is a beautiful farm house converted into a convention site. Everything is modern and the management is excellent. Even the breakfast is worth the cost.

Definition of quaint
We got to the property around 1:00am after a late Valentines dinner so we went right to bed and didn't explore until morning. What a beautiful place! A little off the beaten path but the GPS helped. We were on a tight schedule but did explore the area and wished we could have stayed longer. The definition of quaint:)

Very Good Choice
We loved staying at Le Manoir du Capitaine. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and quiet. After staying in cramped hotel rooms in other European cities, this was a wonderful change. The owner and his family were very friendly and helpful. We are so glad we stayed there while making sightseeing trips into Bruges, Brussels, and other cities.

Charming B & B with a story
This B & B is a must see. It is in the quaint town of Seneffe Belgium. The innkeeper was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We had a beautiful apartment with 2 bedrooms and a kitchen. quite spacious, clean, lovely decor. Bathroom could have used updating, and a shower curtain. But that was the only negative. Breakfast was very good. in a very attractive (fancy) dining area. This property dates back to the 14th century and has so many unique and beautiful details to enjoy.

Probably not the best stay we've had (family of 4), the hotel is located just outside what looks like a tired part of an inner city. On finally finding the hotel, the outside impression though is appealing, this does however greatly contrast with the experience you are greeted with when you go in in the door. The room we had was quite spacious, this was probably the only upside, the rest I'm afraid was not so positive. The room itself was a 2 bedroom family room, it was filled with dated furniture and had that musty smell of a room that had not had anyone in it for some time. The hotel did appear to be having some work done on it, perhaps trying to bring a bit of modernity to it? The bit my wife disliked the most though was the toilet, where there was a rather ugly stain (I think) on the floor. There could of course be a simple reason for this, i.e. too much cleaner on the tiled floor which had removed the floor surface, or it could be something else, we didn't investigate too much further. Last but not least the price...€130 per night, far far too much for what you get, the impression from the hotel's picture is a smart modern hotel in the countryside which would have met the price tag, for what we got (without breakfast which was extra) was far too much. Oh and by the way they do not have a restaurant serving evening meals, so if you turn up late you won't get anything to eat. Would I recommend this hotel - no, would I go back - I'll let you guess on that on that one!

Beautiful experience!
I booked this hotel by chance because my partner wanted to visit a nearby industrial town. The hotel, or rather estate, completely outdid my expectations. The hotel is actually a lovingly renovated farm and brewery, with many of the 17th century features still intact. It is beautiful! The modern hotel rooms are unique mini-apartments, with the bedroom and living/kitchen/dining room on different levels. The quaint nearby village (complete with privately owned castle in the center of town), and the surrounding countryside make you feel like you have entered a different century. Wonderful owners of the estate live onsite, and it was amazing to hear about their experiences with renovating the property. Do not expect a cookie-cutter chain hotel. We felt more like guests at a manor house. I will definitely return, for a longer, and more relaxed stay!
