BRRRR!!

Posted 22-Sep-2017
We booked a room specifically to use the pool and waterslides and it was freezing! The lifeguard told us the heater had broken. That's no one's fault. But when I spoke to whom I think was the owner about it, she said, "No, the heater is not broken. Its 85 degrees. I checked it myself." Lie! If she had been honest and gracious about it, I wouldn't be writing a review, but how totally rude and unprofessional! The staff there was very nice and the rooms were okay.

Loud and small

Posted 18-Sep-2017
Smelled dirty. The room was small. People running around all night. The hot tub had dirty foam in it. Not much of a section for their breakfast. No coffee in room. The breakfast room was out of coffee. No one was there to check on it. The toilet seat was about to fall off. The non slip strip in the tub were all torn off.

Worst Hotel Experience Ever

Posted 17-Sep-2017
My husband and I were recently in the Federal Way area to attend a concert at the Washington State Fair. The check-in time for our room was 3:00pm. We called in the morning to inquire about an early check-in and were told to call back later. I called back early in the afternoon and asked to speak with a manager. The manager told me 'I will have something ready for you at 1:00pm'. When we arrived the manager was at the front desk and very rudely told us that she did not have anything ready for us and she was not obligated to have a room ready for us until check-in time. We left and waited for 2 hours to check-in. When we arrived, our room was dirty, with paint on the curtains and dirty and hair on the bathroom floor. Needless to say, we will not be staying here or any other Red Lion again .

Was a little upset that there was no truck driver rates. And no elevator, had to pack my portable fridge and bags down the stairs.

The water slide was best part.

Paid in Expedia, still had to put $40 for incidentals and then another $15 for the pet. Staff was not pleasant... made me feel uncomfortable being there.

Converted Days Inn

Posted 08-Sep-2017
What a disappointment. The Red Lion name has always stood for a good place to stay, but not this one. I asked for a quite room and they stuck me on the closest room to the entrance to the building and sharing a wall with the breakfast room. It was also an accessible room with all the features including a shower bench stored in the bathroom (yuk) and grab bars all over. The room was so tiny, there wasn't room for a desk or even a chair to sit on. Needless to say, I will not be going back.

Close to the Puyallup Fair and cheap

Posted 04-Sep-2017
Pros: Comfy bed
Cons: New carpets, better door quiet noisy
Location: Great location for the Puyallup Fair, restaurants and things to do
It was an older hotel so it looked dirty but it smelled clean. The bed was comfy. We had some trouble at check in but then everything was fine. They were oversold but my husband told them that that wasn't our problem and they checked us in. The hotel looks like a small town old 2 story hotel. I would probably stay again if the price was at 100 per night.

Room condition....

Posted 03-Sep-2017
Most of problems that I had when I was staying this place is the stink smells and no soundproof in the room. In addition, the bed mattress was soft which may cause back pain. No recommended this place.

You get what you pay for

I chose to stay here because I had a bunch of Expedia points and it was easier than driving home. Check-in was easy and fast. I went to use the sparse fitness room, and neither cardio machine worked. The room was okay, except the smudge of poop on the wall beside the toilet, which caused us to gag each time we entered the bathroom. Breakfast was fine.
