Cheap room for a night or so - with advisories!
To be clear, this is a very basic and run down hotel that is due to be refurbished in 2020 (according to the posters round the site). However it is clean and cheap (much cheaper than anywhere near by) so more than suited our purpose of a quick one night stop over on a drive up the coast. So on that basis alone i would say it was OK. I probably wouldn't stay here for more than a night or two. There are a couple of good restaurants within walking distance and the local épicerie store has breakfast sorted with coffee and croissants at picnic tables a stone's throw from the hotel entrance.

Needs a makeover
Lovely reception staff; very friendly and helpful. Room clean and adequate. Balcony advertised but it was not even large enough to put one chair on let alone two! Whole place in need of some attention- green areas all dry and grassless, no restaurant available, and sadly the pool (which was the feature that made me book it) has been surrounded by a high concrete wall so no grass in sight, which was the defining point of the whole hotel. They even use the same photo of the pool surrounded by grass in the foyer of the reception so very disappointing to find it looking so different. Pool itself very clean and good size though. Apparently some work going on to be ready by 2020- such a pity as the site as such potential.

The hotel is located 20min drive from Portovecchio and 1h from Bastia, 10min walking to the beach and with a nice swimmingpool. Unfortunately the structure is left in an abandoned state with concrete spalling from balconies and mortar falling down in many places, it needs a huge refurbishing to have a decent standard, and the worst bit is that it has NO air conditioning so hard to sleep in the summer. Staff are not very friendly, I asked for an additional towel and the lady at the reception spoke very rude with her manager in french but unfortotunately for her I speak french and I understood, not very nice stay at all after paying so much money, it should be downgraded to 1 star.

Very poor standard . Pool area very nice , all the rest very run down . Dirty . No lights . Fans that weren’t plugged in and furniture had to be moved to do so . Very hot . Room smelt so musty .

Good location but hotel is tired and needs attenti
Great location 5 minutes walk to a great beach, bars and restaurants. The staff were very helpful but the hotel itself needs decorating andd some maintenance work
