The best area to stay in Fargue is the historic centre, particularly around the Plaza de la Constitución and Calle Larga. This area is the heart of Fargue, offering a blend of traditional Andalusian architecture and convenient access to key attractions. It's very walkable, with narrow, winding streets opening onto charming squares. You'll find a good selection of quality boutique hotels and guesthouses here, many with roof terraces offering views over the town.Couples will find the historic centre particularly appealing. You're just a short stroll from the Fargue Castle and the Mirador del Valle, superb for romantic evenings. The area's many tavernas and restaurants provide excellent opportunities to enjoy local cuisine and wine. For those seeking a slightly more secluded and quiet experience, the area just north of the historic centre, towards the Parador de Fargue, is an excellent option. While still within easy walking distance of the main sights, it offers a more residential feel with lovely views of the surrounding countryside.

The best times to go to Fargue are during the spring (April to June) and autumn (September to October) months. These periods offer pleasant weather, with warm, sunny days superb for exploring without the intense heat of summer. You'll find the countryside lush and green in spring, while autumn brings comfortable temperatures and fewer crowds. This makes it ideal for couples and travellers who prefer a more relaxed pace.Summer (July and August) can be very hot, with temperatures often exceeding 30°C, which might be too much for some, especially if you plan on extensive outdoor activities. However, if you enjoy basking in the sun and spending time by the pool or at the coast, summer could be a good fit.Winter (November to March) is generally mild but can be cooler and wetter, particularly in January and February. While it's still a pleasant escape from colder climates, some attractions might have reduced hours.
