This Is a very large resort with hotel type accommodations and prívate property sites
For the short term accommodation the best choice is the suite towers.,
For all inclusive good selection is plentiful and good quality.
As a local, I would rate Decameron as three stars. There were no high end optional upgrades offered to us, even though I saw at least one banner about it. They had a lot more staff working than at other resorts. The staff was sometimes friendly, but many times they were enforcing unseen rules like no soda until lunch and no food outside of the eating area. Some restaurants were open for breakfast, but from 7-8am and if you for there at 8am they would turn you away to one of the other restaurants. The resort was quite large, so walking from one to the other took at least 5 minutes walking if you were young and able. I was there with elderly parents, and being turned away cost us a 20 minute detour. There were little busses (square passenger vans) that shuttled guests around, but there wasn't a schedule. The best way to get one was to request it from security.
Additionally, the little busses shared the road with the pedestrians. I had to be vigilant about holding on to my 6 year old whIle we waited on the side for the little busses to pass.
The food was very mediocre and mostly buffet style. All drinks including water had to be requested by waiters at the table or at the bar. There wwere 8 restaurants, but a lot of the food options were the same in at least 3 of the 8 restaurants. The desserts were the same at lunch and dinner and at the different restaurants.
My first experience in the Bijao Hotel, I must say few things as I always do, Im going to start with:
1. The Hotel: was very nice, the staff was good, the room was clean and also good, not quite impressive.
2. The facilities: I think is quite small, the buffet was too crowded due to the small spaces to get food, the bar by the pool was good, and the bar at the lobby was also good.
3. The food: I must say is better than resorts such as Decameron, Wyndham playa blanca and even RIU Playa Blanca. I did enjoy the food, but not the space to eat, it was just to shrink.
4. General opinion I think I like it, had a good time, but didnt blow my mind away. Good place to have some resting days :)

A good choice for our family who after four days in the city wanted to experience a Panamanian all inclusive and relax on a beach for a few days. Nice clean beach. Very good food. Nice staff and rooms. Grounds and pool bars and bathrooms need some work. Activities limited.

The hotel was nice, a 2 hour ride from Panama City airport. There are 4 elevators in the lobby area that lead to all floors, be prepared to walk. There are no other elevators in this facility. Hotel could use some paint, inside and out. There are 4 pools, one designated for the children, there should be one pool for adults only. Children are allowed in all 4 pools. I found that in the buffet parents let their children run unattended, I saw plenty of children running with glasses. One slip and an accident waiting to happen. Do not visit this hotel during there holiday which is the first week of November, we learned our lesson. Food, drink, shows, etc. are catered to Latins, it took us three days to find someone who spoke English. Only went to one show because they did not translate what was going on in English. Wait staff where not social at all, some didn't even speak to you. The room refrigerator was stocked every other day.
Farallon, also known as Playa Blanca, was just another quiet fishing village with a beautiful stretch of beach prior to 2001. Situated on Panama's Pacific coast, the area is now home to huge resorts owned by the Decameron- and Barcelo hotel chains. Several residential-resort communities have also sprung up in the area, including Coronado, which offers a world-class golf course.
