We stayed in a standard room in building 7 and had an awesome view of the beach and pool. It was a great trip! The food could be better but it was decent. Staff speaks Spanish but reception was bilingual. The beach was beautiful. The entertainment was enjoyable (also in Spanish). We didn't travel with children but there were a lot of activities for children. The room was clean and comfortable. Unit had an air conditioner but the breeze on the beach was impressive. There was ample seating along the pool sides and beach. They serve warm and cold snacks between meals: chicken nuggets, fries, pizza, hot dogs, fresh fruit. We didn't try out the specialty restaurants, but the buffet has a salad bar, a variety of options and yummy bread. Dessert was lackluster but the cheesecake squares were yummy. The staff was really outgoing. They work really hard to keep everyone entertained...the aerobics class was a bit more intense than I wanted for a vacation. The casino is pretty much a handful of slot machines. The gift shop was incredibly overpriced. Don't leave anything at home!
One of the best places we have been!!! Very friendly people and reasonable prices, very tasty food.
Totally family friendly hotel and the Panamanian are amazing people.
We are recommended one hundred percent.

Upon arrival I was greeted by Alcides who assisted in getting my luggage to my room. Denisse at the front desk was courteous and provided detailed information about the resort. The room was spectacular! Extremely private and relaxing. You will not be disappointed! The housekeepers kept the room clean with nightly turn downs. My daughter wrote a note in the room just saying how she loved the resort. The housekeeper left her a note and candy. My little one was so delighted they even paid attention to her note. The food at the Tamarindo restaurant is excellent! Every dish I had was great. The waiters and waitresses will make sure that you have everything you need as you enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner. Thank you to Edwin, Marco, Miguel and Vianka for your excellent customer service. My daughter really enjoyed being able to ride a bike on the property so thank you to Marvin for being attentive to her needs. The resort is absolutely breathtaking! Make sure to walk around or ride a bike around the property. The walk to the abundant pools with cabanas is relaxing as well. The Faro clubhouse also has a large number of pools. I must say the resort never felt overcrowded...even on the weekend! During the week it felt like we had the whole resort to ourselves. The beach is beautiful! The waves were a bit too rough for us to make it in, but we truly enjoyed the long morning and evening walks on the beach. I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking to relax and be pampered.

A good choice for our family who after four days in the city wanted to experience a Panamanian all inclusive and relax on a beach for a few days. Nice clean beach. Very good food. Nice staff and rooms. Grounds and pool bars and bathrooms need some work. Activities limited.

The hotel was great. Food was amazing and staff was always ready and happy to serve. Our room was the Jr suite ocean view and it was the best part of our trip. Our room was always clean and our fridges were always fully stocked. Food was limited in selection since they only have 3 specialty diners but they were great. My experience with the steak place was not so good since my cut was very fatty but my wife really loved hers. My only complaint is that there are way to many kids and they were allowed in every pool the hotel had to offer. They should only allow the kids to 3 out of the 4 pools and the pool that serves alcohol should not allow them to swim there. Only other downsize its a 2 hour car ride to get to this resort. Sad thing is there is a airport within 10 minutes from our resort but its not available to the general public.
Farallon, also known as Playa Blanca, was just another quiet fishing village with a beautiful stretch of beach prior to 2001. Situated on Panama's Pacific coast, the area is now home to huge resorts owned by the Decameron- and Barcelo hotel chains. Several residential-resort communities have also sprung up in the area, including Coronado, which offers a world-class golf course.
