We went for a quick weekend away. It was an amazing location! The pictures online made it seem much nicer than it actually was in person. We had a room just one door off the lobby, so it was quite loud. We could hear people coming in late and the early risers going into Percy's for breakfast in the morning.
I was a bit disappointed that my King room did not come with a jacuzzi tub like the pictures. Our bathroom was very spacious, but I believe we had a handicapped accessible room – which would be why it was large.
There was also someone clearly smoking in a room off the main hallway.
Also, turning on the TV required a degree from Harvard.
Cindy went out of her way to make sure we had an early check-in. Room was immaculate with the electric fireplace going. Bed was extremely comfortable with lots of extra pillows.
Quiet location but close enough to everything you need. Great restaurants in the area, close to the beach for a nice walk on the boardwalk and a couple miles from the Martha's Vineyard ferry.
Have been here several times and have never been disappointed.
The motel is older but is incredibly clean. The staff is courteous and extremely helpful. It is right in a business district so we were able to walk to everywhere including the beach. We are making plans to go back. Thank you!
This is apparently a former fishing resort reconfigured for a hotel. Our room was at the very very bottom of many many steps, making it difficult to transfer our luggage to and from. There was an asphalt covered path that wound through the hill above us that we used instead. Our room was nice, the beds were comfortable. We saw staff only when we registered. It was a little too snooty for us but we are from the Southwest so there may be some culture shock there. I wouldn't stay there again because we didn't need that much. It would be a lovely venue for a wedding.
The Bourne and Sagamore bridges cross the Cape Cod Canal, linking the mainland and Cape. Sandwich, located by the canal, preserves its heritage as the Cape’s oldest town. Falmouth, a quintessential New England town, is flanked by Buzzards Bay and the Nantucket Sound. The Nobska Light sits at the tip of this peninsula in Woods Hole, a hub for oceanic research and home to an aquarium and ferry port.
