Spacious, clean, everything needed provided. Great location for exploring Matala and area
We had a week at Villa Leonidas in August. Pitsidia is a small and pleasant town with about a dozen resturants, butchers, small supermarket and a great bakery. Lots more lovely resturants in the surrounding area. Komos beach about 1.5km. Only 3km to Matatla and other beaches close by. We found south Crete very relaxed and not too crowded...would recommend Villa Leonidas to groups looking for a large villa with 4 bedrooms (3 x double, 1 x twin) and a great pool.

15 giorni fantastici! George il padrone di casa è una persona adorabile che ci ha accolti con frutta fresca ed una bottiglia di vino. Sempre disponibile a risolvere qualunque eventuale problema in tempi rapidissimi, ospitale e discreto ha contribuito a rendere piacevolissimo il nostro soggiorno. La casa è molto grande, noi eravamo due famiglie, 8 persone in tutto e avevamo ampio spazio per le esigenze di ognuno senza darci fastidio. La piscina è una meraviglia, molto curata (George ogni sera tardi passava a controllare i livelli di cloro e a pulire eventualmente il fondo). Molto carino il giardinetto dietro la cucina dove noi facevamo colazione e cenavamo usando anche il barbecue attrezzato.A 2 minuti la bellissima spiaggia di kommos dove ombrellone e sdraio costano 2 euro l'uno al giorno. A 5 minuti di macchina il delizioso paesino di Matala con un ampia scelta di taverne per cenare. Unico piccolo neo il bagnetto del piano terra molto piccolo e da attrezzare un pò meglio. Nel complesso una casa magnifica. Caldamente consigliata!!!

Schönes Haus mit Mängeln
Das Haus ist schön, sehr geräumig und wir hatten mit unserer fünfköpfigen Familie ausreichend Platz. Auch für acht Personen wäre es kein Problem gewesen.
Die Raumaufteilung ist wunderbar, ebenso der Außenbereich mit dem Pool. Alles entspricht der Darstellung auf den Fotos.
Leider gibt es doch gravierende Hygienemängel in den beiden Bädern und in der Küche. Rund um die Dunstabzugshaube klebt uraltes Fett. Auch in den Schubladen und Besteckkästen klebt und bröselt es überall. Schlimmer noch die beiden Bäder. Die Klobürste im kleinen Bad ein Bild des Grauens. Im großen Bad drückt sich bei jedem Duschen Wasser und Schaum und wer weiß sonst noch was aus dem Bodenabfluss in der Mitte des Raumes.
Darüber hinaus ist vieles nicht fachmännisch verarbeitet worden. Beispiel Zimmertüren aus Holz. Die sind alle verzogen, so dass man die Türen nur mit großer Kraft öffnen und schließen kann und dabei befürchten muss, die Türklinke herauszureißen. Die Verkleidung des Heizkörper in der Küche fällt bei leichter Berührung einfach herunter. Brause und Haltestangen in den Dusche sitzen locker und wacklig und man hat Angst beim kleinsten Kontakt geht etwas kaputt. Deckenbeleuchtung flackert. Kabel hängen lose. Normalerweise Alles kein Problem für uns, wir sind im Süden und haben Urlaub ...
Als aber eine Poollampe aus ihrer Halterung gebrochen ist, stand der Vermieter sofort auf der Matte. Mit einer Rechnung über 140 Euro für eine neue Lampe, obwohl die alte noch ging. Er war unerbittlich und hat auch gleich gedroht die Polizei zu rufen. Einen Beweis, dass tatsächlich wir es waren, hatte er nicht. Wir haben gezahlt, weil er vermutlich sonst das Wasser aus dem Pool gelassen hätte oder sonst eine Schikane. Als er das Geld hatte, hat er uns sogar noch zu einem Glas Wein eingeladen (Er wohnt direkt nebenan) und zum Abschied noch zwei Flaschen Olivenöl und eine Flasche Raki geschenkt. Was soll man sagen!?
