"This was a summer meet up/get away for my best friend and I and we really enjoyed our stay. The front staff, restaurant waitress for our breakfasts and night security guard were all very friendly & helpful. Everywhere was very clean and gardens well maintained. Pool was fabulous to float & lounge in for hours! The room had really great water pressure and instant hot water, so great! The location was ideal, we popped out to Grand Bend one evening and also checked out the Hessenland private beach that’s back along the side road, be prepared for the stairs!! But a lovely small bit of beach to relax on, quiet and peaceful. Now for a few recommendations, please add tea bags to the room, it had kettle and coffee supplies only. It would be great if you could fit a microwave into the rooms as well, since there’s a fridge. And lastly, some kind of towel supply or front desk exchange for pool towels. We used our beach towels and I saw others using the white room towels. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and we are likely to make it an annual summer meet up !!"
Westover Inn

"We have stayed at the Westover Inn many times in the past but hadn't been back for a while. We always loved its setting in the quaint town of St.Mary's, close enough to Stratford to enjoy the Stratford Festival productions. The elegant inn appealed to us from the start. Some of the features are no longer available like the delightful breakfasts and lunches they used to serve. However, the bar and the lovely deck with tables and umbrellas are still there. We recently stayed in one of the rooms in the Manor and it was as pleasant as we remember. Everything was well maintained and very clean. We enjoyed a glass of wine in the parlour and we had a fantastic dinner in the pretty dining room, one of the few places that still uses white table cloths! The staff we met were excellent, interesting to chat with and very accommodating. The grounds seemed well maintained and allowed for a pleasant stroll. We were very happy to have our trip down memory lane at Westover and appreciate an atmosphere that is not the cookie-cutter type of hotel but a genuinely unique setting with a history and an appreciation of tradition. Thank you to the Westover owners and staff for our many happy times there."
