We arrived late at night otherwise we would have changed hotels upon getting to our room. The check in was quick and easy with friendly service. We were told the elevator was broken and we were on the 3rd floor. There was no offer or compensation for the inconvenience. She did mention that it should be fixed by Tuesday, however we were only staying one night so that did not matter. We walked up the stairs to our non smoking room thru stairwells and hallways that reeked of cigarette smoke. We were placed right next to the stairs which have a door that slams shut every time someone uses it. We get into our room which has a kitchen (that we were unaware of), but no dishes. I walk into the bathroom and see urine spots all over the seat ... bright yellow urine spots!! If the room was CLEANED it would've been impossible to miss. I slept in my cloths for fear of what else was not cleaned. I say "slept" loosely due to the continuous slamming of the stair door. My two children cried when I told them we were staying and it was too late to change hotels. The beds were small, hard and the pillows were uncomfortable. I am not a person who typically complains. I am a "look for the bright side" kinda person, but this was a horrible experience.
