First time - but not the last!
This was our first visit to this establishment, but we will be happy to return. People are very important to us, and we were delighted with the friendly welcome by the gentleman on duty at Reception, when we arrived. His command of the English language was a real bonus! The room was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. A large, and very comfortable, bed; a delightful en-suite with shower, basin, and toilet; and, to crown it all, a kettle, that enabled us to make the tea/coffee provided. There was no milk (which my wife always takes in her coffee), but the gentleman at Reception gladly provided her with some. The breakfast was amazing, and the lady receptionist was also friendly. The variety of options was the best we have ever experienced in a "budget" hotel - and we have used a lot of them! Even the seating was of a higher quality than we have experienced in the past! The overall star rating is due to the fact that the toilet cistern seemed to be filling up every 15-20 minutes. We had thought, at first, that the noise was coming from other rooms around about, and that it would stop when everyone had gone to bed! If we had realised that the noise was from within our own room, we would have reported it to the gentleman before he went off-duty!

A shock to be charged so much local tax. I did check and it was over Euros 3 but we were charged more than expected by Expedia. The first room we were given had a broken toilet that flushed on it's own every couple of minutes and the door made a terrible scraping noise every time it was opened or closed. Not a problem we were given another room straight away. Problem was that this room had poor wifi reception and there was very long black hair in the sink and shower. By then it was too late to move as there was no reception staff. I suggested free breakfast as compensation but was refused. Disgusting, shouldn't be allowed and we should get a refund on our stay, it was disgusting. Morning reception said he'd pass on complaint and we would be emailed but nothing whatsoever.

This hotel is unmanned but open meaning that anyone can enter the premises. This meant that reception was being used as a smoking lobby. I telephoned the number on the door but the staff were unable to assist and the manager was neither present nor contactable. It is by far the worst hotel we have had the misfortune to book in recent years! It is nothing like the photos!

Basic hotel. Hard to find. Room very cold, heater is under the window covered by curtains. No air con if coming in summer. Small room tiny shower cubicle. Expensive room for what you get. Ok for one night

Good night sleep
We got the wrong room, the staff apologized and gave us a discount on the breakfast. The breakfast was good and the lady at the restaurant was very kind. The hotel is pleasent and quiet.

All good a 30 minute walk to town centre nice and quiet, only small problem was no milk in either room of my booking to go with tea/coffee.

Lovely hotel
Really good. Service amazing. Delicious food. Only downside was getting into the bed. It was up against the wall with no option to move it. Also, it is a new room so it hadn't had clothes hanging facilities fitted yet. Other than that, great. We would definitely stay here again

Unfortunately, the ceilings are high and with little soft furnishings and very thin walls the noise from all the surrounding rooms comes through..I could hear people snoring, turning lights on and off and even peeing in the night!

Near to exposition centre which is good. Restaurant on site but food not great. The staff were very helpful and couldn't be faulted. Unfortunately the corridor is open to the vaulted reception area and so lots of noise when people are coming in.

We'd go again
It was extremely good value for money, we opted for the breakfast and dinner included deal and found both meals very good, especially the breakfast. All the staff members were very friendly and helpful.

Excellent value
A little difficult to find but after that excellent. Located at the back of a small group of industrial unit, reception staff were helpful and efficient. Room was comfortable and spotlessly clean, as was the bathroom. One of the whitest nights in a hotel with no banging doors, talk from other guests on corridors or road noise. Excellent location near to Chartres. Excellent value for money

Basic, budget stay.
Basic, budget hotel. Rooms were small but clean and family room was perfect with children. Staff were friendly, breakfast was better than expected. Good for stop over on our travels and would use again.

Great breakfast
Decent room. Good value. Scrambled eggs and bacon for breakfast which was most welcome. Situated on industrial estate. Could be difficult to find late at night but no problem with satnav. Will definitely return.

Staff is indifferent. You can walk inside the room but no space for a suitcase. After standing in the shower under the running water I discovered that there's no soup in the dispenser. At reception there was nobody anymore.

Nice hotel, clean and good value
We only stayed the one night but have no complaints at all. Staff were pleasant, the room was clean and had everything we needed. It's always nice to have tea and coffee making facilities. Slept really well. We had to make an early start so didn't take breakfast but I am sure it was good.

We'd Use Again.
Good breakfast choices for variety of food. Clean rooms. Shower enclosure is very bijou (in estate agent speak)! Access to hotel, using address supplied and entered into our recently updated Garmin GPS took us 1 roundabout too far and brought us back to the correct roundabout?!? Then delivered us to the wrong location on an uninspiring but quiet industrial complex. Close to Charters centre by car, however!

Budget hotel, ok if not planning on resting much
We were booked into this hotel after spending our holiday in the South. We drove for 10 hours and arrived quite late. The room was tiny, could barely move around in it. The shower is tiny, my husband who is quite tall was really not comfortable at all. Awful night sleep.

Brilliant Management
The young Manager that welcomed us is an asset to the hotel organization for which he works. He was very friendly and accommodating and provided my family and I with exceptional levels of service. The hotel would do well to retain and reward staff like him.

Stop over in Chartres
The hotel was totally adequate as a stopover ts location was not great but it was quiet and only 30 min walk to Chartres Cathedral. The gentleman on reception was extremely welcoming and helpful, good value for money. Comfortable bed, good clean bathroom, excellent shower and pleasing to find a kettle and tea making facilities provided.

A good sleep
We stayed for three nights and could not fault the hotel or staff. The receptionist even went out of her way to find me a doctor when I had a small medical challenge. The breakfasts were more than adequate. Although the hotel is in an industrial area and right next to a busy roundabout we did not hear any noise from these.

The reception was fully manned and a very warm and friendly greeting. The Hotel is nice and airy and well designed and furnished. The rooms were a very good size and the bed very comfortable. The Wifi was quick and easy to connect. Dining facilities and breakfast were in a well appointed area easily accessed from Reception. to say this Hotel is at the side of a very busy road, the traffic noise was very low and hardly noticeable. Location was very convenient and easily accessed.

cheap rooms but expensive breakfast
Bad surprise: price for breakfast is not 7 € for adults and 3.50 for kids, as announced, but 7,5 for everyone, at least kids of 8yr already pay the full price. Makes a difference if you have 3. Room was very tiny, a shelf but no table or drawer or the like. Room next to us was "under construction" (smells & noise)

The staff at the hotel were very good from the welcome to the checkout, but the rooms need a bit of an upgrade. Our room was very small and the bathroom basic. But the worst thing was that there was no air conditioning and with the outside temperature at over 35 degrees the room was like an oven.
