Should have stayed longer
Our stay was an overnight stopover to a rendezvous the following day. It is such a super place and we must return to stay longer and enjoy the hotel and Chartres

Lovely place so close to the centre and the Cathedral. The staff were amazing with valet parking. Room was lovely with a bath which is quite unusual in France. Lovely very cosy bar (it was cold outside) with great service This hotel was literally perfect for our one night stay and they welcome dogs

A nicely appointed hotel within walking distance of the cathedral and historic town center. Rooms were nicely decorated and the hotel was full service. Parking is available.

I've stayed here many times over the years as a stop over whilst driving down to the Lot & Dordogne and its a charming and beautiful property with delightful and helpful staff. As a guest with a Gluten Sensitivity the food options were not very impressive though for a property of this calibre, certainly in the year 2023.

Beautiful but tiny room.
Such a cool hotel but our room was so tiny we could barely move around in it. Last time we stayed there they gave us a huge room with a huge bathroom. This time, our bathroom was the size of a closet and there wasn’t anywhere to lay out our suitcases or toiletries. The decor is beautiful and I would totally stay there again. But I’ll make sure I ask for a larger space!

We had a shower the next morning and the water did not drain and we were afraid it would spill out and over. We reported it and nothing was done for us and the inconvenience of the still water for when my husband had to shower after me.

Travel stop over
Family holiday in the south, so cut the homeward journey up with a stop over at this lovely hotel. Staff and facilities were excellent, room was outstanding (must have been good as even the teenagers were impressed) Used hotel valet parking at €10 which was good value.

Exquisite hotel where personnel provides a very personal good customer service and attention. Had a very pleasant stay, room very clean and in good condition. You can easily walk to attractions and restaurants. Definately can stay again and recommend it !!

Great service, convenient location to cathedral and medieval ares of city but surrounded by modern shops, banks and post office. Great service. We asked about better lighting for bedtime read in and within three and a half minutes there was a lamp cheerfully delivered to our room. Good laundry service. Great breakfast, good Brasserie and ferric George’s dining room.

Gorgeous room on the 3rd floor. We had an amazing dinner at Le Georges at the hotel. They have a beautiful bar area. Staff are fabulous. Walking distance to Chatres Cathedral. Great light show at the cathedral at night! A wonderful experience!

We enjoyed our stay at the Monarque Chartres. It is in a very convenient location - walkable to the cathedral and other main sites, lots of restaurants etc. Staff were friendly and efficient. The room was pleasant and spacious with nice decor. Ok for a family of 4 for 2 nights. The hotel offers valet parking for 10 Euro per night which very useful and good value

We loved the hotel and the personnel were very friendly and accommodating. The only reason I gave a 4 for service was that when leaving I was offered valet service for my car in the parking (1 1/2 blks. away) although I had to self park on arrival. The valet option would have been nice, although self parking in the enclosed lot was not a problem, and I was able to unload the luggage near the front before going to the lot. There was also no bellman to assist with the luggage, but that was OK too. Good elevator!

They journey starts with the spacious rooms, continues through spa and fitness. The restaurant is outstanding well priced. The bar has drinks that you may not find anywhere else. Short walk to the cathedral and excellent old town shopping. Secure parking with ev charging.

Stylish, traditional hotel with lovely interiors, very comfortable rooms and the hotel enjoys a a great location - close to many restaurants, shops, and the magnificent cathedral is a short walk away.

Wonderful Stay in Chartres
This was such a wonderful surprise. The "Best Western" brand connotes economy accommodation. But this was far from that. Right in the center of town in a beautiful old hotel. Big, airy room, fantastic courtyard restaurant (and that wasn't even the 1-Michelin star restaurant also in the hotel), great outdoor cafe to people watch and lovely people in all our hotel encounters.
