"A French hotel, not just another anonymous chain hotel room. Lovely looking hotel. Classic looks and very clean. Nicely placed in the heart of Arbois, handy for restaurants and bars. The use of the garage was a major plus as we used the hotel as a base for motorbike trips. Breakfast out the terrace was a lovely way to start the day. Marie, who seemed to do everything in the hotel, was a constant reassuring presence and could not have been more welcoming or helpful."

"Wichtig, das Hotel ist am Rande der Stadt, aber in der unmittelbarer Nähe, gibt es sehr gute Möglichkeiten zum Essen. Bezüglich des Frühstückes, wir waren sehr positiv überrascht, Es gab frische Gebäcke, warme Speisen wie Bacon und Rührei. Jogurts verschiedener Art. Guter Caffè. Wurst und Käse jeweils zwei Sorten. Cornflakes, Säfte, Milch. An der Theke sind diverse Brettspiele vorhanden. Sehr schade, dass WiFi nicht ins Internet konnte, leider defekt gewesen, aber es ist wirklich nicht so bewegend in unserem Fall gewesen. Wenn man uns frägt, wir empfehlen das Hotel sehr."

Hotel seemed to run on skeleton staff."

The hotel was easy to find and the parking was offered in the underground garage - good for motorcyclist. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the room was spotless and comfortable. "We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Le Lac. The hotel was nice enough, and the staff were welcoming. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice, and the dining room was particularly impressive — very elegant and beautifully presented. Overall, it was a nice hotel with a great breakfast, although the room décor felt a little tired and would benefit from an update. Unfortunately, there was no air conditioning, which wasn’t ideal during the heatwave we experienced."
