"The host was lovely, however, the property smelt very strongly of tobacco and/or marijuana causing an asthma attack (despite being non-smoking). The property is not private as the host’s Mother resides downstairs and there are curtains missing from the windows etc. Having read positive reviews by other guests we were excited to stay at this property, however, had to leave within 20 mins of arrival and check into hotel based on smell. "We had such a lovely week staying at Jemma's house. We were a multi generational group of 17, ages 1 -90 and the house suited everyone perfectly - One bedroom being on the ground floor was perfect for grandparents and there were stair gates and everything we'd need for a baby too. The house itself is lovely and had great areas for everyone to sit together in, which we find hard to find when renting houses for a larger group like ours.Jemma and Ann were quick to deal with any issues that arose and helpful with any recommendations in the local area. We'd definitely recommend the house and will definitely be back in the future I'm sure!"

"This was a family reunion/holiday and the property was perfect for us. We had wide range of ages from grandparents, teens and young children and everyone loved being here. There is plenty of space for everyone to do their thing but also areas to come together. Well equipped kitchen was great for cooking for lots of people. Yves was an excellent host and made sure we had everything we needed. The pool was a big hit with the younger children and the hot tub with the teens! We would absolutely visit again."

Large, completely renovated country house with swimming pool

10/10 Excellent

"A superb property in a very rural location. The house was spotless and a perfect size for our group of 15 (8 adults and 7 children aged between 6 and 13).The pool is beautiful and a great size to allow for proper swimming as well as the splashy games for the kids. The kitchen and communal areas both inside and out are really spacious and there is more than enough seating for everyone. The outside space is outstanding with a quieter shaded area by to pool and the addition of the patio cover is brilliant.Communication with the hosts was great and although we didn’t need anything while we were there, the information provided was excellent. It was really hot while we were there and there is A/C in the upstairs rooms where the children were sleeping. However the whole house was cool throughout even in the rooms without A/C as long as windows and shutters were closed during the day and open at night. I can’t fault this property, it is beautifully renovated and has everything you could possibly need for a fabulous family holiday. We have stayed in many properties in France over the last 30 years and I can easily say that this was the best we have ever rented."

"Please put more than 2 coat hangers in a cupboard. Breakfast needs improving. Rooms nice and clean with great facilities in the room and really good aircon. Beds are really comfy. Staff very helpful. I would stay here again with no issue."
