Nice grand looking hotel and very friendly staff. Inside the hotel, especially the rooms, look a bit outdated. The hotel was really nice. The room was very comfortable with hot tea and coffee available. The shower was lovely. The staff at the hotel was pleasant and very accommodating. Loved swimming in the pool and the use of the sauna and steam room. Would gladly stay there again.
We stayed overnight as we'd had an annual dinner and dance in one of their function rooms. The accomodation rooms have recently been refurbished to a very good standard and the price is inline with what you get.
Had a nice family stay. Room with two double beds, nice but shower could be better. Soft towels. Really enjoyed warm swimming pool, towels provided. They need to fix spinner in women's changing room

Had a fantastic two days here, rooms Gawgous, beds really comfy & staff just couldn’t do enough for you. Highly recommended as a must place to stay if you want a bit of luxury, good food and a friendly family atmosphere 😊
Check in was excellent, very helpful receptionist. We got upgraded to a balcony room which was good. Bathroom let down the room as it was tired round the edges, and the windows definitely needed a clean but all in all a nice quiet, comfortable room. Breakfast was good with a good choice of food. ...
The hotel is lovely- a renovated Elizabethan Manor House with lovely grounds and a lake. Unfortunately we were accommodated in the annex across the road, which was narrow, unlit and with a bend in both directions. We arrived after dark, and the time clock for the external lights of the annex had ...
