Disappointing

Posted 15-Jul-2015
Pros: One or two of the staff were helpful, but most less so.
Cons: Customer service, decor, booking descriptions.
Location: Golf
View of muddy bank rather than promised golf view (room 115), over officious at the spa, dated decor. Overall not somewhere be recommended.

Great hotel and spa.

Great hotel for a few days off. Staff, food and service were fantastic. I will definitely be going back. The only problem was that the hotel were performing some maintenance and some drilling was being done at 08:30.

Friendly staff. Good hotel facilities including Spa and gym which had a good range of equipment for a full body workout. Large bed which was clean. Good breakfast. All round great hotel.

Excellent

Very clean and comfortable hotel. Pool is good but is only open to children between 4 and 6pm - so we had to plan our day around that a bit to get a swim. Breakfast is pricey so we went somewhere else for that. Would definitely stay here again though.

A pleasant stay

Posted 01-Nov-2014 on Hotels
A great stay with loads to do locally. A lot of money has been spent upgrading the hotel and as a result the restaurant/ bar/ gift shop and reception area really hit the mark. Unimpressed however by the "superior" family room - Not up to the spec of the photo's on the website nor reflective of a four star hotel; though it looked like room refurbishment and upgrade was ongoing. The room aside (which was perfectly habitable) a great and picturesque location for golfers and non- golfers alike. We experienced great levels of service from the bar staff and the restaurant team particularly.

rubbish wifi

rubbish wifi Everything else lovely but when you pay 120+ for a hotel room with free wifi I expect something that can open a web page in under 5 minutes
