Very nice and clean, helpful staff and lots of perks when you become a member. Didn’t like the air conditioning shut off in the middle of the night so room became very hot and humid. Generally good stay.

Walking distance to the airport. The hotel has an indoor swimming pool which was good for the kids.

Rooms need upgrading and better cleaning. USB ports don’t work in any rooms. Temperature control is tempremental. Slow drainage in bathroom. Shower gel pumps are bad to use. Outdated shower fittings. Very poor and expensive coffee (4.50!)

Very good check in and check out. Drinks and food are very expensive (20 pounds for a small curry as an example) rooms are functional with good wifi and bed was very comfortable, was stains on the carpet and bed frame. Accessories were good. Great place for a 1 nights stay and close to the airport means 0 stress for check in.

Excellent hotel a few minutes walk from Stansted Airport. A great choice if you need to stay in the area for an early flight.

Food was better than expected having read some of the reviews. Pork loin chop was delicious and fish and chips was lovely and certainly plentiful. When arriving in our room we did find some of the previous occupants underway under the curtain but we were offered a room move immediately.

Overnight at the airport
We were arriving on a late flight and decided to stay at the airport instead of getting a train to London at 12am. Hotel was clean and comfortable, although the room distribution was a little awkward. Breakfast was really good. Highly recommend for a night at the airport. Good price/value

Good for overnight pre-flight stay
We stayed here for one night before a Ryanair flight. Check in was very smooth and the roomwas OK. We booked for 3 adults, but the third bed was very much a child’s bed, which was just about OK for our daughter, but not ideal for a large adult. The room itself was clean and well equipped, although some of the fixtures and fittings are starting to look a little tired. We left for an early start, and Hotels.com said breakfast starts early, but it doesn’t expect for a coffee machine and a few snacks. A good but brief experience.

Was really convenient for the airport. Room was very nice and clean and quiet. Nice to have tea making facilities but no coffee and only 2 little milks but staff in the bar very helpful and gave me some extra. Check out was easy.

Good - we found the bed really comfortable and the walk to the airport was quick and reception staff were very friendly. Bad - speakers in the bar made awful feedback/ringing noise, check in was slow, curtains in room were dirty, hazardous electrical box cupboards unlocked and wide open, stained carpets throughout hotel. Awful - service in the bar was so bad it was laughable. Food was awful. Waiter forgot drinks, waited ages for them. Waiter told us drinks we had in front of us were not available because they are not served there. Yet we were just sat their drinking them.??!! Table was dirty. It really was the pits. Which really detracted from the overall experience at the hotel. Which otherwise could have been really pleasant.
