"A beautiful castle just off the road to Hamburg. Service wise, almost great. Only real let down was the exceedingly expensive breakfast that was really not worth the €30 that for 3 people almost felt like extortion. Some cold fish, a few cheeses and some tired looking charcuteries. Pancakes were fine as was the scrambled egg and bacon. But an extra €12.50 for Eggs Benedict, come on, that really is taking the biscuit! Also, had never heard of Rooibos tea, wich really was surprising for a place...

"Grundsätzlich ein toller Aufenthalt - super Personal, tolles Zimmer und ein tolles Frühstück. Abzüge gibt es nur in Punkto Sauberkeit: Sessel und Nachttisch verschmutzt, etwas zu viel Schimmel an der Badezimmerdecke um darüber hinwegsehen zu können. Trotzdem: absolut empfehlenswert, wir kommen wieder!"

"I had a good two-day stay at this hotel. Room was comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly and competent. Location can’t be beat within easy walking distance of the Opera House, Königstrasse (the main shopping area), the harbor and the Harbour. On the negative side, my room was located on the third floor (second in Germany) directly on top of the entrance and it was very noisy until 1am, caused by cats parked in front of the hotel for no reason and blasting their speakers. Someone should do...
