Essaouira was one of the many impressive locations where Game of Thrones was filmed, in this case, serving as the city Astapor, from where Daenerys Targaryen would acquire her 8,000-strong army of the Unsullied. As an avid Game of Thrones fan, it was especially cool to stumble upon this breathtaking site, one of the many incredible parts of the historic and UNESCO-certified, white-washed oceanfront city.
