"Spent the first half hour hoovering cobwebs from bedrooms....toilet floor was damaged and spongy......little disappointing really because we've stayed in this block of cottages before....."

"Beautiful building and property. Spacious rooms with decent wifi, fridge, fan and comfortable chairs and bed. Good restaurant in the building too. Enjoyed the critters in the yard: cats, peacocks, Guinea hens, chickens, geese, and scrunchy faced pigs. Would have loved to have stayed longer. "
"Amazing find. A quaint hotel in an amazing location. Great service. The bird life & Red Squirrels visible from my bedroom window was incredible. A must for wildlife watchers. Walkers would love it as well as there’s literally a path in to the hills at the gate. Do the steam railway trip. You can hear the trains as the pass 5 minutes walk across the valley. Great hosts, breakfasts were perfect. I’ll be back. "
"Nice place to stay. Coffee shop not far away and walkable - very nice. Need a car as narrow lanes to get to and no footpaths. Service at breakfast on the 1st morning was slow but that was due to the young girl serving. Not there when we arrived and waited 10 minutes before she appeared. Left dirty dishes on tables when she could have easily removed when bringing other dishes etc...She was friendly enough. 2nd morning, totally different service. Lady on duty was attentive and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. Food is good, book a table as it is busy. Rooms were clean and spacious but feel they missed a trick with our room. Small corridor to the bathroom but no hooks to put coats on etc.. Would definitely stay again... "
"A very warm and welcoming apartment, right next to a friendly and welcoming pub... short travel distances to all major sightseeing venues and beaches... defo go back again..."
