The people were really nice and helpful. Took longer to get there than planned so didn’t see much. Not much of tourist town. Has white men and sea shore A museum got in to late to see.

One night stay
The room was efficient and clean. The smell of smoke on the floor I stayed on was problematic due to my allergies. I notified staff of the issue and hopefully they took care of it.

Showering is a challenge
One night stay. Hadn’t stayed in these smaller rooms before but the area is still adequate. My issue is with the strange over bath shower whereby the bath is big enough for a 3 year old to lie down!! It also has a shower curtain which clings to you so you can’t get a decent shower for fight off the curtain as you’re literally against the wall!! Very poor design. Hotel is nice aparty from this flaw.

Staff were excellent. The lady at reception was fantastic (curly hair, light frame glasses). The staff and food in the gourmet restaurant - yes! Only thing that slightly let the hotel down was no fridge in the room.

Check in-check out- check- in
Short notice business trip during Easter so I brought my wife with me. Ordered 2 nights (little pricey), room was small, no place to put clothes, no desk or table, TV didn’t work, ventilator noisey, leftover potato chips under the bed. None of this was the problem - I had to extend my stay 1 more night. Went into Hotels.com and ordered new night (price had gone up by 15%, ok prices fluctuate) Went down to reception to tell them we staying one more night and won’t be checking out. They found the new booking, but had to pay an additional $15 to keep the room(?!?) or and to checkout at 11 and back in at 3PM. Unbelievable. Of principle, I refused to pay the additional fee. My wife had to checkout, find something to do for 4 hours and checking again at 3PM while I was at work at the customer!!

We are very sorry to hear that you had a bad experience at our hotel - non functional tv, noisy ventilalor and chips under the bed is of course not up to our standards, and for that we apologize. Regarding the extra night, what happened is that you booked two different room types, which is why we were not able to give you the same room, without the extra charge for the upgrade. If a guest has booked different room types, we do unfortunately need them to check out from the room (11:00), and cannot guarantee the new room to be ready before normal check in time (15:00). DISSAPOINTING TO SAY THE LEAST, WE PARKED IN WHAT WE THOUGHT WAS A PARKING SPACE FOR AN ELECTRIC CAR , IT TURNED OUT IT WASNT IT WAS TO CHARGE THE CAR, THE MANAGER SAID HE WOULD GET IT WAIVERED , HE DIDNT, THEY CHANGED THEIR MINDS NEXT DIAY. I ASKED FOR LATE CHECK OUT , WAS PREPARED TO PAY £30 FOR A FEW EXTRA HOURS AS MY HUSBAND WAS ILL. THEY FIRSTLY SAID OK , THEN NEXT DAY SAID WE HAVE TO CHARGE YOU £146 AN EXTRA NIGHT, SO WE COULDNT DO IT. THEY CANNOT MAKE A FIRM DECISION & STICK TO IT , NO MANAGER TILL MONDAY, THE BREAKFAST FAIRLY POOR , THIS MUST BE THE ONLY HOTEL IN THE WORLD THAT DOESNT HAVE A TOASTER FOR BREAD AT BREAKFAST TIME , I ASKED FOR MY BREAD TO BE TOASTED AND IT TOOK 20 MINUTES , WE TOOK ALOT OF PEOPLE TO THIS HOTEL THIS TIME WE WILL NOT BE STAYING THERE ANYMORE & AS IM THE BOOKER FOR THE REST I WILL BE TAKING US TO ANOTHER HOTEL THERE..

Nice hotel. No ironingboard in the room though...
All in all a nice hotel. The rooms do not have iron and ironisk board and this can not be ordered to the room. Ironing has to be done in a communal ironing room.
