"Our stay at The River House was so much more than we expected. The house was impeccable and stocked with every amenity possible. One evening we were wanting to BBQ and the propane tanks were empty. We called Sarah and within 20 minutes we had a new propane tank for the BBQ grill. She responded to other inquiries, and we so appreciated her looking out for us. We were concerned about the walk to the river, but Sarah explained how nature made the paths and they could not be changed. I would highly recommend you booking this location - it is about 10 minutes from Merlin and 20 minutes from Grants Pass where there are amazing shopping boutiques and restaurants. Sarah and Stephen, thank you being such considerate hosts.Gary and Tammy V"

"Sheep and chickens were friendly. They set the vibe perfectly to slow down and just enjoy. We were able to make a decent dinner between the grill area and the surprisingly efficient kitchen. Best shower we encountered over our whole trip - 5 stops. Bed was very comfortable. The record player was a nice surprise. Luckily we had been collecting our own along the way of our trip but I highly recommend the Brothers Reed out of what is available in the cabin."

"The Galice Lodge is a great place for a large group. We all had our own bedrooms. Lots of privacy as well as a very comfortable common area to gather. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pots, and pans. The house is located in such a scenic part of Oregon with easy access to lots of water activities and hiking. The staff assisted quickly with any issues. We’d love to stay at the Lodge again!"
