We went swimming and was given towels at reception. unfortunately didn't find out until my husband went to use it that it has blood stains all over one end.Jacuzzi want working and someone had written 'dirty' on the pool tiles. fire alarm went off twice but rang reception and was told it was a fault and not to worry. after that the lifts didn't work for the rest of the stay so had to walk up and down 3 floors to go anywhere and carry bags down at the end of the stay. this was a shame as we had been really looking forward to this break. on the up side, the staff were very polite and welcoming and the food was lovely. the rest of the hotel was clean and the room was small but clean and had everything you might need for a short break except the sun ( weather was dreadful but that's not the hotels fault )

The hotel is well run and the hotel owners ensure that you have everything catered for so that your stay is a pleasurable experience.
Large hotel with good leisure facilities and plenty of car parking. Was upgraded from a single to a double room - clean and pleasant although a little dated. Excellent plentiful breakfast. Very pleasant attentive staff, and plenty of them . Thanks for a pleasant break.

From the moment that we arrived at the hotel to check in last Sunday afternoon until we checked out yesterday morning, we had a wonderful experience. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the standard of service was absolutely outstanding. We decided to stay an extra night and asked the Reception staff if this could be arranges. It was all arranged very quickly, we didn't have to change rooms and it was done with the minimum of fuss. The facilities at the hotel were excellent and we will definitely be returning sooner rather than later. The swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room were good and the changing rooms were immaculate. The meal prices in the Bar Bistro were really good and the food was wonderful. I'm not sure that the gym can really be described as 'state of the art' but it is a lot better than many hotel gyms I have used in the past. Our room was large with a bay window which overlooked the golf driving range and the bathroom was extremely clean and well presented although not all that large. The shower was easy to use, the toiletries were first class and the heated towel rail was lovely. One of the very few things I didn't like was that the bed was extremely wide but it was very short. Fortunately, neither of us is very tall but it was a bit disconcerting to find my feet near the bottom of the bed as I'm only 5 foot three. However, this is the only real issue that my husband or I had. The WIFI was very good and we look forward to our return visit.
The Riviera comprises three main towns: Torquay is the most fashionable and popular with a luxury marina, good beaches, and family attractions including a famous Model Village and the Kent’s Cavern. Paignton is a more traditional English resort, boasting a superb zoo. Brixham is not only a picturesque fishing harbour but one of Britain's busiest fishing ports. The adjacent area, the South Hams, is known as one of the prettiest in England.
