"One of the best lodging experiences I've ever had. The staff were so friendly and helpful with questions about my stay and plans while in town. The shopette had very reasonable prices and a huge selection of items for purchase. The hostel was very clean and well maintained. You could tell they put lots of thought into guest needs and comfort. I felt like I was stay at a family lodge. The outdoor area was beautiful. Showers were hot with great pressure. Couldn't recommend higher."

"My wife and I stayed here while attending the Common Ground Fair. As far as we could tell, Neal alone orchestrated and performed all duties. He was very friendly and helpful. Our room was nice & clean and well kept. Comfortable bed! It’s a motel, so don’t expect frills. Nice grounds in back, with a seasonal pool. Trails into the woods. Quiet. Great stay. Will stay again. The location was incredibly convenient, with easy access to the mountain, golf course, restaurants, and everything the Sugarloaf area has to offer. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.The area was peaceful, the views were beautiful, and check-in and communication were both easy. It was the perfect home base for our Sugarloaf trip, and we would definitely stay here again."

"19 of us, 3 generations, loved our vacation at this lakehouse from August 22-29. The beds were very comfortable. Our grandchildren enjoyed swimming, the kayaks and the yard. The view of the lake from the deck was beautiful. There was enough space where no one was crowded. Watching the eagles and listening to the loons added to the atmosphere. We would definitely return to this lakehouse. Thank you Shaina."
