9/10 Wonderful! (20 reviews)
Very small, quaint and walking distance from
most Rome attractions like Colosseum, Trevi fountain, Spanish steps, shopping, multiple basilicas and train station. By walking I mean 5-15 min walk tops. Surrounded by many small and very good trattorias that open very early in the morning and stay open until late at night. Very safe too.

This was a very nice hotel to stay. The staff were great, the rooms were clean and it was centrally located to everything.

Let’s be honest, Luxury in Italy doesn’t necessarily mean the same as it does in the US. This is a top price hotel near the airport but the room is small (the bathroom by scale is large). Lots of upcharges and not many options for food or drinks. Breakfast was expensive but a nice buffet. The thing everyone complains about regarding everyone in white robes was true (and cultish!). There are lot’s of non-hotel guests on the property to use the spas. We didn’t use the spas as we were only staying to fly out the next day. Getting there from airport is onerous - a 25 Euro taxi (1.8 mile trip) or an 8 Euro shuttle (per person), but no help in arranging. If you call the hotel they’ll make you call the shuttle yourself from the airport (and yet they can make the return reservation for you).
I think what separates true luxury is “service” and this place does not bend over backwards for guests. Staff seems small and not concerned with the “details” that make true luxury. 4-star at best.

"Great WiFi, clean room, helpful staff, wonderful selection at breakfast. Pool was lovely, towels available there. Outdoor seating was relaxing after a day of walking around the city. I wish they varied their selection of beers in the cooler as I find Jever too bitter. Bitburger or Licher preferred. ..."

How much does an Elmshausen travel package cost?
Our Elmshausen travel packages, which start from just £271, are the easiest way to save. All you have to do is choose your favourite flights, hotels and rental cars to create a customized escape.
If I'm not able to travel, can I cancel my Elmshausen travel package?
Certainly, and we're here to help. You may be able to amend or cancel your Elmshausen travel package for free within 24 hours of booking. But you may incur a fee from your hotel, airline or car rental company if your booking is older than that. If life throws you a curveball, visit our Customer Service Portal for more information.
How do I get a cheap travel package to Elmshausen?
If you love getting an amazing deal, combine your bookings into an Elmshausen travel package. Whether you're searching for hotels, flights, tours or rental cars, you can book them all in one place. You'll have endless choice at your fingertips too. Expedia has more than 550 airlines and 1,000,000 hotels throughout the world to pick from. Does Expedia offer Book Now, Pay Later Elmshausen holidays?
Expedia has joined forces with online lender Klarna to make booking your next break easier on your bank balance. Paying by instalment means you can spread the costs of your next adventure, leaving you with more cash to splash while you're away. Klarna has several payment plans to choose from, so you're sure to find something that falls within your budget. Take a look at these flexible payment options:
- Pay monthly holidays: Klarna has manageable monthly payment plans that fit all budgets, so you can escape on that well-deserved holiday now.
- Pay in instalments holidays: With this Book Now, Pay Later option, Klarna makes it possible to pay for your trip over multiple transactions.
- Low deposit holidays: If paying a small percentage of your trip (rather than the total upfront) makes it easier to hit that "book now" button, consider a low deposit holiday payment plan with Klarna.
How far in advance should I book my Elmshausen holiday?
It all depends on the air carrier, but you can generally compare international fares on Expedia nearly a year in advance. While it's generally a good idea to book ahead of time, lucky travellers will occasionally find a cheaper seat just weeks prior to departure dates.
What does an Expedia Elmshausen travel package include?
Packages include hotels, rental cars and flights, but you can mix and match them to create your perfect Elmshausen holiday. You can also add on fun stuff like activities and experiences once you've made your booking. You're in the driver's seat! When you bundle your bookings with Expedia, you'll get access to discounts you won't find anywhere else.
What should I know before booking an Elmshausen travel package?
We already have low prices. However, you'll snap up even more bargains if you book your hotels, flights and car rentals together. With an Expedia package, you'll always get transparent pricing and a terrific range of choice.
Can I choose my airline with an Elmshausen Expedia travel package?
Yes, you're in control. We have access to over 550 airlines around the world, so you can design your Elmshausen adventure according to your style and budget.
