Great location and enough space for two families.
The Chalet is in a fantastic location for getting to the ski hills. It covers basic needs and was very clean.
Great location across the street from the slopes. A little bit older decor but great for a ski weekend with friends

Great Weekend Get Away
The place was perfect for a weekend get away. Plenty of space for 8 people to sleep comfortably, great views of the ski runs from the hot tub and the house, and the sauna was a perfect way to relax after skiing. The house is also walking distance from the Yodler lift. I would happily stay here again.
The house is across the street from the parking lot for the Yodeler lodge so you can easily walk there.
The house overall is outdated but everything worked. Would definitely stay again.
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The location was perfect, check in was super easy, all amenities we needed were available and hot tub was small, but nice. The stairs to the main living area and extra bedrooms are very steep, which was fine for us, but maybe not elderly. The house is in need of some updates, there was a leaking pipe that a pan was catching the water from in the kitchen, the tiles in the spare room by the upstairs bathroom are falling in and there are critters living in the attic/roof which kept us up at night. We truly enjoyed our stay and would stay again, the house just needs some TLC.
This home was cozy and convenient to Holiday Valley and Yodeler Lodge. Beautiful views of the slopes from the hot tub, which was nice after skiing and hiking, on front deck. Good wi-fi. Well supplied for a rental (i.e. extra toilet paper, foil, saran wrap, etc.) Very steep steps to get to main floor and 2nd floor bedrooms. May not be ideal for seniors or those with knee/hip issues, but not a problem for our stay. A little outdated in decor, but did not take away from our trip
Accommodating in most regards. The cupboards and cabinets held the necessary items but much other stuff that seems to have been left over from other renters and the owners. This could have been better organized and cleaned up. The tub/shower on the lower level is a bit awkward to access because of the built in sauna. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were not. The oven was a trick to turn off. We turned down the temperature to its lowest setting - 170 degrees and kept pushing the off button; eventually it cooled. The downstairs fireplace did not work but the living area one did and worked quite well. The driveway was cleared upon our arrival and the guy came everyday due to the snow continuing, but the stairway could have better cleared. When you enter the door code you have shove the door hard to open it. For the most part we did well and had a good time.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
Dirty
Maybe fit for hunting cabin but not for women or familes
1. As soon as you walk in there is a closet to the left with a ton of crap laying around
2. The mildew smell in the whole lower level was horrible to sleep in, we had to buy candles to burn to even stand it.
3. In lower bedroom there was dirt on the bed stands, the little tray on bed stand was covered in dirt. Cobwebs in the shower. Facet worked but did not turn the right way. Never have a been to a vrbo where you had to make your own beds. I guess that we could over look although it was inconvenient at least we knew that part of the house was clean. Although when I went to make the bed downstairs there was a big Live bug on the pillow which freaked my out and Im not the high maintenance person, so I made everyone else's beds thinking if they see bugs they will freak.
4. Stairs were so narrow surprised we didnt fall and break a leg, I guess that could have been overlooked except the carpet throughout the house made it smell and looked sooooo dirty.
5. The furniture couches had dirt stains all over it, we put the extra sheets on couch just to sit on them, disgusting.
6. All silverware that we used was sticky and we had to wash before we even used it. Windows in the living room did not open at all for fresh air (dining room ones did).
7. Upstairs bathroom old carpet remnants in the corner of the bathroom just laying around.
8. Bedroom had critters in the ceiling, either mice or squirrels which woke that person up every night. The smaller bedroom next to the bathroom.
9. Ceiling tiles in bedroom upstairs are coming down.
10. We didnt want to shower in those showers they were horrible.
I have been in outdated places but because of the lack of cleanliness and the price we paid this was very unacceptable.
Upon arrival, we had trouble accessing the driveway as it was so icy. We managed to get our vehicles up the driveway by sliding down and giving it a “running start”. We reached out to the management company, and were told we were welcome to salt the driveway ourselves or park at the bottom and walk up the icy driveway. The driveway is a hard turn onto the main road, so there is no place to park or wait at the bottom.
There are loose stairs inside the house, so take caution when walking up there.
The beds are not made. So when you’re tired and the kids are ready for bed, be aware that there will be a package of sheets for you in the room and you will have to make your own bed.
The pots and pans in the kitchen are all bowed, so they do not make contact with the cooktop, making cooking a challenge.
Some of the bathroom sinks do not function. The shower faucets are very unusual, so instructions in the bathroom would be helpful.
One of the tvs upstairs did not work.
The fireplaces were very nice.
The house feels like it hasn’t changed in 40 years. It would be nice to feel like the owner cares enough to invest a little bit to upgrade the interior.
Overall great location. I like the 2nd floor the most. The kitchen could use a bit more updating. Not sure why they moved the stove but not the hood vent. We could not get the fancy coffee maker to work, used the old fashioned one which took forever. Some things need repair/updating.

Good cozy stay
It was a nice time, clean house, all the basics there. Very close to Holiday Valley. We enjoyed sitting on the couch inside watching the night skiers. We thought it was a little dated overall-the bedrooms are small but adequate. It looked like some deferred maintenance-some lights not working, tub wouldn't drain, but no issues other than that.
