"We loved our stay at the Iron Horse Bed & Breakfast. It is such a unique lodging option - how often do you get to sleep in a caboose?! We brought our bikes and rode on the adjacent Palouse to Cascades Trail, which was right next to the property. The breakfasts were outstanding, the property was very interesting from a historical perspective, and the proprietor clearly loves his job and is a wonderful host. 10/10 would stay there again, and we highly recommend it."
"We got this room after a long day of gravel riding and it met our needs perfectly - air conditioning, showers, good price, close to the end of our ride. Front desk clerk who checked us in was very nice. "
"Many good restaurants within a short walk. Quiet. Fitness center has a treadmill, elliptical, stationary bike, dumbbells, universal machine, exercise balls and medicine balls. Coffee in the lobby and a small brewer in room. "
"This hotel was conveniently located and the staff was nice. However, the interior is outdated and our room wasn’t as clean as it could have been. (It looked like they forgot to vacuum.) It was a noisy hotel partly because doors are old and do not reduce the sound coming from the hallways and the walls are thin between adjoining rooms. Guests who stay should be aware that the conference space is rented out and they could be subjected to loud party music that goes past 10:30pm."
"A good place to get away from the noise of the city. The surrounding area is surrounded by beautiful mountains. It has a large patio in case you want to camp with your family. Nestor always responds quickly when you have questions or need help with something. I highly recommend it."
Private Retreat in the Woods on 20 Acres! Grand Lodge with 8 Studio Cabins!!
10/10 Excellent
"A large main lodge and eight separate sleeping cabins (in paired duplexes) - this was great for giving everyone their own private space, and not having noise from the main house reach the sleeping spaces. This is out from the small town, and down a gravel road, so it feels nicely secluded. Great cooking spaces indoor and out, and space to gather in the lodge. The main drawbacks:- the cabins are up a fairly steep hill that wasn’t clear in the listing, so the far ones get extra steps in.- the technology is old, so bring vga to connect to a projector and audio cables to connect to the stereo.- the cabin floors are noisy, so you might wake up partners who aren’t on the same schedule.Overall a good amount of space kept well maintained, with some cute bunnies and turkeys to watch over your stay."
