False Kitchenette Advertising.

The definition of "Kitchenette" is "a small kitchen or part of a room equipped as a kitchen." Oak Tree markets themselves as having kitchenettes available. My contention is that without pots, pans, bowls, plates, silverware, or cups, or anything by which you could cook or consume food, you do not have a kitchenette. The only difference between their regular rooms and their kitchenettes is a large fridge and a hot plate. That is their only effort at providing a "kitchenette." Their apathetic response to complaints about being deceived solidifies my decision to avoid this hotel moving forward. With the Marriott, Best Western, America's Best, and soon to be Hilton 2 Home in town ALL with actual kitchenettes where one does not have to pack their kitchens with them to warm up a hot dog, The Oak Tree is likely going to come under new management soon. Or the owners might just have to sell. They won't make it in this market.
Oh, the bed is ridiculously bowed (see pic). Have you ever tried sleeping on a grade? Ridiculous! I guess they spent their mattress budget on their large fridge.
