Beds not good

Posted 22-Aug-2016
Cons: New beds!
Location: There is a movie theater within walking distance. There is a Denny's restaurant within walking distance, and also a Walmart. Close to airport.
The bed in my room was terrible. It was worn out and had a large bow in the middle of it. If you need a flat bed this place is not for you. Also, there was no TV guide and TV reception was marginal. What I did like was it was clean and hotel staff and workers were pleasant.

Sbare minimum at best

Posted 08-Aug-2016
Pros: The wifi worked
Cons: A rebuild.
One bar of soap in the bathroom - no shampoo or conditioner. Cheap towels. It looked good and cosy in the pictures but the reality was old, cheap and barely maintained. The woman at the desk told me "no continental breakfast but there is a Denis across the road." Stay away unless you are desperate.

Dear D, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I am glad to hear the WiFi worked, We have taken many steps to ensure our internet is safe, and running up to speed. And no our property does not have breakfast included but there are many restaurants all within walking distance that offer a wonderful breakfast such as Matties, Denny's, & Donuts & More. Again thank you for your feedback. Best Regards,

Quiet location

Posted 06-Aug-2016
Pros: Reasonable rates, large room, friendly staff.
Cons: The lobby is very small with a narrow door into it. There is a nice drive up portico though...Odd combination of features.
Location: The motel is located on a hill and the drive into it is a switchback. You must drive to restaurants or shopping. Walking isn't really an option.
The room was large and very clean; the beds were comfortable; the hallways were narrow, but the stairwells were wide and carpeted though they needed cleaning. It had a nice exercise room. The parking lot was large but unkept. Cigarette butts were on the ground by the entrances around the container provided for them. We spent evenings in. There was one comfortable occasional chair with a foot rest and three small straight back chairs. Because there were three of us and the room was very large, at least one other comfortable chair would have been nice. But, we didn't ask so that can't be anyone's fault but ours.

Great for a short stay.

Posted 02-Aug-2016
Pros: Might seem strange to some, but; they had great TV and a remote we could read and understand how to use.
Cons: The beds are very hard. Would be nice if they invested in pillow top mattresses.
Location: Very close to restaurants, stores, etc.
No place like home when it comes to your own bed. However, we did enjoy our short stay. They were so kind to refund one day's reservation when my husband ended up in the hospital and we had to had to rush home the same night for emergency knee surgery. His surgery had nothing to do with the hotel.

Hallway are very long with the only elevator in one corner. Our room was a ways from the elevator. The hallways had dirty towels and sheets tubs setting in them close to the elevator, that made it hard to pass. Our room had no glasses or cups although it had a coffee pot, coffee and a ice buckets. The only ice machine was on one floor by the elevator. It was a ok place to stay for one night with a low price. I would stay there again but ask for a room with a room number between 1 and 15 not in the 30. I am sure if I asked for a different room or called for glasses, the staff would of helped us. Hotel was hard to find. It needs a much larger sign at the entrance.

Need a different person at the desk.

I didn't catch the lady's name but she was quite rude and didn't care about helping us. I wish I would have been able to go to a different hotel, but paid in advance-non refundable. Other than that the room was ok except for being able to see lights through the door. We could hear people (kids) clearly. Hotel needs updated.

Nice hotel, terrible parking.

Posted 29-Jun-2016
Pros: The room was clean, comfortable and quiet.
Cons: The asking lot.
Location: We were driving through.
The room was fine and the breakfast, as well. The parking lot was full and the spaces were so small that your doors were sure to get dinged. We waited until we could park in an end space. If you value your car, don't park there.
