We had an unexpected delay due to Accident on Highway and road being closed overnight. Staff were friendly. Check in lobby was quite daunting ( not appealing) however room was large and clean. Bed was also comfortable.

Not as advertised

Posted 02-Feb-2016
Pros: Location and there was a luggage card.
Cons: Nice breakfast should be standard for a hotel charging what we were charged. Internet must be upgraded
Hotel advertised with breakfast voucher, no breakfast, no voucher without long and painful conversation with managers. Internet awful, and unusable for business needs. Room quality adequate, bed too firm.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. Clean and comfortable with NO SMOKING and very little noise through the night. Great location with a good view. The staff we interacted with were very professional and friendly.

This hotel does not serve breakfast as listed on Expedia. They did provide vouchers for meal at a nearby restaurant.

I wouldn't call this a free breakfast

Posted 18-Sep-2015 on Hotels
I was really pleased with my stay last night at the Oak Tree. I made the reservation yesterday morning, before leaving Colorado to head to California. For $56 I didn't really know what to expect. The room was way above what I expected, I had a queen bed, with loads of space. There we plenty out outlets and it was very clean. What I wasn't impressed with was the claim of "Free breakfast" that drew me to the hotel in the first place. When I went downstairs to checkout, u was informed that there wasn't actually breakfast on the premises, but was given a $5 voucher to go to a coffee shop. The coffee shop, while only a mile away, took a few minutes to get to with morning traffic. The voucher claimed "free hot breakfast". I was able to get a bagel with cream cheese and a cappuccino and still ended up paying $1.50. It would have been much more convenient for me to drive through McDonald's. So just be aware! If you are looking for a place to walk downstairs and grab some cereal in your jammies before getting ready, this isn't the place. Or if you are in a hurry to get out in the morning with some carbs in hand. This added 25 minutes to a breakfast I anticipated would take 5 minutes.
