"This hotel was conveniently located near Capital Market with a great restaurant. However it was a bit rundown. The breakfast was not very good. Eggs did not look appetizing and they ran out. Also kept running out of coffee. The woman in charge of breakfast kept disappearing. There was no spray for the waffle maker and our waffle stuck and fell apart trying to get it out."

"This is a great place if you just need a less expensive place to spend the night. It was clean and neat with fridge and microwave, no coffee maker, no frills, but also property that didn't seem to be falling apart even if it wasn't superbly decorated. No litter in the parking lot or vicinity, just crisp and clean inside and out. It is an older Motel but the rooms seem well maintained. The bathroom was very nice and clean with newer tile and sink area and a nice shower. It also bordered on the Kanawha River and that was such a very pretty setting for an inexpensive motel!"

"Such a nice property! We really enjoyed our stay. The home was very clean and the kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. The back porch was the perfect place to relax in the afternoon. Would definitely recommend."
