"Relaxing hotel within walking distance of the town"
The Hotel entrance foyer is lovely and beyond, you walk past a wonderful pool surrounded by Palm trees. The standard rooms are fine but not quite up to the level shown in the pictures on the site. That said, they are well designed and spacious, all in a bungalow style within tropical type gardens. All the room locations are pretty quiet and the rooms are dark so no bright sunlight waking you early. The pool area is wonderful and plenty of deck chairs are available. Breakfast is additional (10 Euro pp) - it's continental style but generally worth it. The evening restaurant is lovely; they convert the area each night next to the pool with nice lighting and secluded tables. Prices are a little expensive so not something you would probably want to do every night. There's also an outside bar and lounge area that does a great range of cocktails amongst other things to set the evening up. The town of Elche is also nice albeit not especially picturesque with plenty of outdoor cafes etc although not a great selection of restaurants that we found at least. The best thing is you can walk everywhere so no hire car needed unless you plan to travel further a field. We had a wonderful 6 night break and due to the relaxing nature of the hotel, it felt longer.
Only two problems:
1. the kettle and the cups in the room kept being taken away by the chambermaid. Always replaced when we asked, but annoying.
2. heat in the room. Despite driving the aircon at full there were permanent hotspots (presumably pipes in the walls or floor) which made the room uncomfortably warm throughout the night. Our schedule made it inconvenient to ask for a different room so we dispensed with recovers altogether - in January!
Other than that, well located for our needs.
Great location close to bus lines. My mother was in the hospital Vinalopo. Lots of restaurants close by. The hotel was very accommodating in letting me extend my stay. Very clean updated room, wood floors and beautiful bathroom. No coffee facilities in room but room in minibar to store personal items.
I sent two e-mail to let the hotel know we would be arriving after midnight, ( the tine they will keep the room till ) I asked for a reply to confirm to my e-mail but I never received one back.
The staff on duty could not have been more helpful and pleasant, The noise from the service station was noticeable, but we were tired so it was not to bad, but it was handy to walk to and have a coffee and a snack before we set off on our journey.
Overall we would use this hotel again for overnight stops.
Wasn't sure about hotel because of price and 2 star rating but read reviews and went ahead and booked. Sooo glad I did. It was spotless and the bathroom were of a higher rating than 2 stars. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Late checkout is 2pm.
I booked a late getaway and chose this brand as it was an established chain. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff were warm and friendly. Definitely one to recommend as it,'s location is perfect...15 minute bus ride from Alicante International airport (€1.55 fare) that drops you outside the hotel and only 15 minute walk from the centre of the historical town of Elche. Public transport is excellent and the regular bus routes can take you to many coastal resorts for very little, why rent a car? There is also a municipal pool complex within 2 minutes walk that caters for all ages.

Elche is renowned for its magnificent palm forest, the only one of its kind in Europe, comprising over 300,000 century-old trees. These surround and infiltrate the whole city centre, giving it a cool shady feel. The best known area is the Huerto del Cura (The Priest’s Garden), home to the Imperial Palm, a huge seven-stemmed specimen. Elche is also famous for its Mystery Play (Misteri d’Elx) dating back to the mid 13th century, staged in August.
