First of all the hotel was very cheap, it was clean, air condition in the room, not very soft bed but if you're looking for something not expensive it is perfect. You can watch the cliff jumpers every day. The worst part of the hotel is the restaurant - expensive, not good food. It is better to go 4 blocks down to the seafood restaurants (fishes, shrimps, lobsters) - great quality, fresh, cheap. Staff in a hotel very nice and friendly. There is WiFi access close to the reception desk (no WiFi in rooms).
The people at Boca Chica were outstanding. We felt welcomed immediately and the views are stunning. The food is lacking for dinner a bit... but breakfast is wonderful! Not sure I understand the Japanese influenced menu... I wish it was just authentic Mexican recipes from the region using fresh local fish. Ceviche is a winner though. The pool is amazing and the place is just fantastically charming. Make sure you dive off of the boat dock!

The room smelled like there was mold, but it it was just the humidity in the air, it was exceptionally clean. The maid washed all the tiled walls and floors every day we were thers. Bring your own coffee for the coffee machines, as they don't provide that. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The pools are very clean. We are definetely planning on going back.

The view from our room, the lobby and the restaurant was amazing. It is old Acapulco so you will see very few, if any Americans. Our room was very comfortable but simple and reasonably priced. The pool was clean but many tiles were missing on the bottom so from a distance it didn't look very good. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The food in the restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. We would definitely stay there again.
At La Quebrada, professional cliff divers soar through the air daily. Near El Centro and the Malecon promenade, Fort San Diego (Museo Fuerte de San Diego) showcases colonial wealth and might. At the tip of Old Town, Caleta and Caletilla beaches feature calm waters thanks to Isla de la Roqueta, an island accessible by glass-bottom boats. Coyuca Lagoon, a fish and bird sanctuary, is nearby.
