Terrible

Cons: Staff needs to check rooms before the release them to be used

Arrived at the hotel to check in and went to the room and key didn't work, as I walked back to my car a man approached me trying to solicit money, Went back to the office and the key didn't work a second time, third attempt finally worked but room was disgustingly dirty and had not been cleaned from last guest. As I got in my car to return to the office a second man approached me asking for money and attempted to open the passenger to get in the car. Finally requested another room and it also had not been cleaned- asked for a refund and left

Worst motel I have ever been in

ok. For those who don't know- extended stay America motels are no-frill places. Housekeeper only weekly, little kitchenette, no little shampoos or coffee pots. Breakfast is grab and go which is basically granola bars and fruit with coffee. That is what it is, not a problem for me in itself. However, when I entered the room (late at night): Bathroom light not working. White powder all over floor. (Called and they vacuumed but it still showed, weird texture of carpet? Sticky? I have pics if needed). Also there was BLOOD on my bedspread I found. Had to have it switched. If I had been coming or leaving during the hours there were office staff (got key and left without checking room, didn't get back till late) and not running to hospital for family I would have left and gone to another hotel. Also loud parking lot fight. The kind that I think had to have the cops called. There was no chain or bolt or anything on the door (and it was a handicap room so could tell from inside whether it locked or not well. Felt unsafe enough that I blockaded the door with the ironing board during the fight. No coffee in morning but I think that was because a big military group left at 6:15 and I left at 6:20. The employee promptly made coffee when I brought it to her attention and was very nice though. It would be nice to have some written info IN the rooms (how the make calls, hours of office, hours for breakfast, policies, etc).

Took around 5 minutes to get someone to the counter for check in. Nearby businesses were easily heard from room.
