So much to offer here! Loved the pool, hot tub, sauna, fire place, breakfast, etc. This is now my favorite hotel in Door County! The staff is so welcoming and open the door for you and make sure you have everything you could possibly need.

Owner John was friendly and welcoming. Very clean and dog friendly. Love that there were fire pits outside to sit and enjoy. Breakfast that was included was great and had a lot of options. Such a relaxing place to stay, will revisit again in the future.

Not a fancy new copy hotel. It has everything you need and a few things you didn't think you'd want.

The only thing that was disappointing was the fireplace. It was on a timer that just wasn’t very long and it didn’t even blow out any heat. The light just seemed very dim as well and could go unnoticed very easily. The main lobby fireplace was amazing but I didn’t want to sit there.

Amazing stay in door county!
Owner was absolutely fantastic! Made sure we were well accounted for, and really took the extra time to make our group feel right at home. Beautiful location, great amenities, and very cozy rooms. Love the hot tub area, and breakfast room is great to play board games in at night. Hotel is located very close to downtown sister bay, and is very close to many shops and restaurants. When we visit door county again, we will definitely be staying here again!

The host was very friendly and helpful! The lobby fireplace was very inviting. The King bedroom had plenty of room with a side couch to sit on. We were surprised that we had a microwave too! The lodge in on the quiet side of town and not too far from the Main Street where all the shops and pubs are! We will go back to stay.

Although not super close to town this property was awesome. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Had nice choices of beer and wine. Breakfast in the am. Would stay here again.

Great Stay
In the area for the annual Christmas market. Great location. Very accommodating owner. Hot tub and a bonfire so relaxing! Evening entertainment by his talented adult daughter a welcome treat. She plays the guitar and has a wonderful voice. All added to a great weekend.

Warm and inviting atmosphere. Decent pricing and close to local restaurants and shopping. The staff is great, the rooms large and there are local wines, frozen pizza ( cooked and brought and brought to your room) and snacks available at the front desk to purchase for your convenience.

This was mine and my fiancés first time at Open Hearth Lodge, and we definitely be back again! The people were extremely friendly and welcoming. They would open the doors when we would go in and out and even greeted us by our names every time we came in and left the hotel. Will recommend this to all my family and friends.
