Decent hotel, decent price. Check in service was not friendly, check out service was good/very friendly. Report was made of strong THC smell affecting my friend’s asthma but not taken seriously

La Quinta is nice, clean and pleasant staff. Immediately upon checking in, I received a text asking if we needed anything. When I said we needed to freeze some ice packs, I never got a response.

After a long drive and wanting to get out of the snow storm we finally checked in around midnight and was greated right away with a smile, i believe his name is Sam. He was so pleasant and just overall a great guy! The accommodations were perfect! Very clean and comfortable! But I do have to say the service was the best!!!! Will keep this stop on our list for next time!

The floor that the room was on had a terrible chemical smell. The chemical smell was so bad it gave us a headache. Had to arrange with the staff to get another room on a different floor.

Whenever we travel to Missouri to visit family we stay at La Quinta in Effingham, Illinois. From check in to check out everyone we encountered were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacius. The grandkids enjoyed the pool. Will definitely stay again.

The king suite was spacious and clean and the bed was comfy with a variety of pillows. They had cookies and popcorn in the lobby for guests, and the breakfast was good. Very easy location for us as we traveled south.
