Price good, room clean, everything worked. However, bed had a hollow metallic base that made noise every time you moved. Sounded like a drum.

The bathroom was so small you had to step in against the tub and then close the door. It was like a closet. Had a small TV. But the beds were nice and comfortable.

Of the three motels we stayed at during the long weekend trip, this one had the most efficient check in. That included accommodating early check in and a pet. This is the second time we’ve stayed here and if we get that way again we’ll use it again.

The beds were very comfortable. It was easy to find the property. Breakfast was ok, could have used more variety, but I did not leave hungry. Staff was outstanding. Lovely property and very nice stay. Thank you.

Owners Do Not Care About This Hotel
I was incredibly disappointed with this stay. I've stayed at this location many times over the years, most recently only a year ago, but the state of the room was abysmal. My room was dirty, first and foremost. There were leaves on the floor and dust/dirt/hair in the corners, the baseboards that remained were stained and filthy, the AC had visible dirt and dust sitting on/in it, the comforter on the bed smelled, and there was a hair in the bed. Clearly housekeeping is not keeping up - be that from poor staffing, low wages, or lack of care, I do not know. The safety lock on the door to my room was broken. The bathtub drained so slowly that my 7 minute shower left me standing in nearly 3 inches of water (see photo). The TV looked like it had been dropped and would not work (see photo). Luckily I travel with cleaning products and my own bed things. I checked in early in the day but didn't go to the room until very late that evening, and I couldn't be bothered to ask for a new room or get a different hotel that late on a holiday. The lobby and hallways were fine, nothing amazing but not visibly disgusting. I would have complained at checkout, but honestly both people who did my check in/check out were really nice and I know they likely can't do anything about it. Hopefully my review will reach the people it needs to. I do not plan to stay at this hotel again. I will gladly spend the extra $50/night to stay a few doors down where I know it is clean.

Nice one night stay.
In for a tournament. The room was nice and clean. Close to my destination. Loved the double entry. Room needed outlets on both sides of room as there was no desk for laptop on electrical outlets. Maybe add a more comfy chair and desk with lamp with outlets. Very courteous staff. Good value for a short 1-2 day stay. Basic hotel.

I like that it was very easy to check in and get to my room so hold me and compassionate and eager to help. on the downside there's no music stations on the TV TV was kind of small and the pool wasn't 24 hours

Not the friendliest of hotels I've stayed at. And their coffee was disgusting. I could see thru it to the bottom of my cup. Room was so-so. Probably won't stay there again.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms and hallway were super clean, including carpeting. Breakfast is lacking hot foods and muffins or donuts.

We stayed here for one night, as we were visiting EIU the next day. The hotel was very clean, check in was quick, staff was nice. This hotel does not have an elevator, from what I gathered. So for those with limited ability, that would be helpful to know. Room was a good size, bathroom was very small. But we didn’t mind it. I thought the bed was comfortable. It was a great accommodation for what we needed.

Subsequently, we received several calls from you around 11:30 P.M. regarding your check-in. We reiterated our policy on reservation hold times and made every effort to accommodate your request. However, your attempt to check-in the day after your scheduled reservation is not something we can accommodate. We wish to continue providing excellent service in the future. For $90 per night, my expectations were not met. On arrival, the temperature in the room was over 95 degrees and the hotel’s exterior door was propped open instead of being locked. There was a strong musty odor throughout the facility. Although clean, the bathroom was extremely small.

Easy, fast check-in. Friendly staff. Very clean. Bathroom was pretty small, beds not the most comfortable, but definitely didn't ruin the trip. I would definitely stay here again.

The mattresses felt like they were made of cardboard and sounded like the were made of sheet metal. The pillows sunk into nothing that could hold your head up. The tv was so smalll it was like watching it from across a ball field. Worst nights sleep I ever had.

The room was a good size and the beds were super comfortable. Very clean hotel with nice staff. The do offer breakfast but nothing like eggs or waffles. They had toast, English muffins, cereal, yogurt and items like granola bars. (The granola bars did have bioengineered products). The offered coffee, orange and apple juice. Very pleasant stay!

Just Here For The Paper (diploma)
Comfortable, plentiful continental breakfast, nice large, clean rooms, quiet. Clearly a "cot" was used for second bed but I didn't need it anyway. My bed creaked & was high Now glad my 93yo mother didn't make the trip. Water in the fridge would've been nice & finally; in this age of covid19, should the front desk person be wearing a mask? What about hand sanitizer in the room?

Good location. I was disappointed that the free breakfast closed at 9 on the weekend. Shoud be changed to at least 10. Otherwise, pretty good placecto stay for just a quick night.

Check in was easy but when we got to the room there were cracks in the ceiling where it was obvious water damage and paint peeling. In the morning I discovered an old finger nail and a dead roach in the bathroom. Breakfast had no juice, cereal with no milk. It was not worth it.

The beds were on metal bed frames which made it seem as though you were sleeping on a can. Every time we rolled over all you heard was an empty can being crushed. we woke up with our bodies completely sore. Left and went to another hotel.

Close to campus
The hotel looks very run down on the outside. As an EIU alum, I would recommend this hotel due to the proximity to campus and the bars/shops/restaurants. It is pretty much what you pay for. My only complaint about the room itself was that the bathroom sink was very small for a room with 2 queen beds and the bathroom itself was super tiny too.
